My first time going when this place first opened was amazing and I couldn’t wait to come back. Upon returning after it’s become “TikTok famous” our experience here was truly terrible! It took forever to get any type of service. The employees we had to interact with were very apologetic and tried to salvage the damage that was Done. Quite frankly they’re overcrowded and understaffed. It showed. A suggestion would be not to seat as many people as they have tables due to the understaffing. I hope the service gets better for the sake of future customers because we definitely can’t find any reasons to return unfortunately. Best wishes.

Had a reservation and was seated promptly. But.. we sat for 30 minutes and no one had acknowledged us. People who came in after us were seated and had bread and water on their tables in less than 5 minutes. I finally went to get some assistance. They said they were busy. Fair enough but apparently not enough for other people and the people next to us. Seven minutes later - still nothing. Finally, someone came took our drink orders thirty-five minutes after we sat down. Our bread finally came but no water. We had no silverware. I told them we needed it and they took it to the table next to us. Finally got our food. It was good but not spectacular. Took forever to get cashed out. Only one time have I not left a tip. Today became the second and I’m usually a 20% tipper.

I was a little disappointed with this place, especially because it has the potential to be a five-star destination. The location is fantastic, the ambiance is appealing, and the food itself is good. Unfortunately, the experience was overshadowed by disorganization, lack of cleanliness, and poor service. I visited on a Sunday around 2:30 PM and had made a reservation through OpenTable. When we arrived, our table wasn’t ready. However, I have to give major credit to the hostess, Giovanna, who went above and beyond. She brought out a table from the back and personally set it up for us outside. It’s rare to see that level of effort in Houston, and it truly stood out in a positive way. Sadly, the service beyond that point was disappointing. There was only one server managing the entire patio area, which had over a dozen tables. It took more than 30 minutes just to receive menus, 45 minutes for our drinks to arrive, and over an hour to get our food—despite our table not being fully set (no silverware or napkins), and the surface still being dirty. When the food finally came, it was good. The menu is fairly basic, but the quality of the ingredients and the steak in particular were solid. That said, when you’re in such a prime location, offering good food isn’t enough to carry the experience if the service falls so far behind. This place has a lot of potential, but they seriously need to improve their staffing and service if they want to live up to it. With the right attention to those details, it could easily become one of Houston’s top spots.

The food was AWESOME!!! But the service was HORRIBLE!!! We were seated and didn't see a waiter for 30 minutes. We had to get the attention from several waiters, we had to ask for water never got it. We had to ask for silverware and we had to ask for bread.

Literally the worst service I have ever gotten here in Houston, and that’s saying something. It took over ten minutes after we were seated to get our drink order. It es downhill from there. We spoke to the diners to our right and left and they had the same problems. No refills of drinks, poor communication, just all in all poor. The diners to our right waited for their check for 20 minutes and then went to the hostess stand and paid. The ones to our left said they would not be back. I really wanted to enjoy this restaurant but with service like we, and all around us received, Medium Rare will not be open much longer. Hopefully they can fix these problems. Oh, and us? We had to go to the hostess stand after 15 minutes to pay our bill as well. Food was good, but food doesn’t make a restaurant.

High school fancy. The meat is pretty meh quality, but the quantity of everything it almost makes up for it. Reminded me of a high school cafeteria lunch, but on a nicer plate with good ambiance. $33 for a $7 piece of meat, plus salty gravy, fries and salad isn't a great value, but it was nice to try. The restaurant is nice and service was good on a slow Wednesday evening. We also got a portobella mushroom ($10) and the total bill was almost $100 with tip. I won't be back but I'm glad I tried it. It was mostly hype.
