   Granted it's downtown AND on Old Dirty 6th I should have tempered my expectations but given the price point you'd think they'd try harder. The service is all over the place and wildly inconsistent. The food, when delivered actually warm, is quite delicious but man is it a gamble on how things are going to come out of their kitchen. The host stand really isn't all that gracious either. They seem more interested in what is going on with their tablet than actually making eye contact with you while checking in. You feel like they're doing you some huge favor to get the privilege to exchange a couple hundred bucks for the most mid meal of your life. I would keep looking elsewhere. There is better food in the same style literally just a couple blocks away.

   Excellent meal. Loved the innovative cocktails and use of lobster in various dishes. Service was first rate

   Great ambience. Food was OK. Margaritas were over-done. Not the Michelin rated experience I was hoping for.

   Chicken was overcooked and really dry. Guacamole just okay. Certainly not what I was looking forward to. Disappointing.

   Impeccably prepared & served! Suttle & amazing treats for the tastebuds, from appetizers to main meal, to dessert. Very knowledgeable & professional wait staff. Beautiful ambiance. Superior experience that will stand out as one of my best dining experiences…and a great value!

   The food took over an hour to come out. We had a reservation time and weren’t seated till way after. I don’t recommend.

    I don’t usually leave reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience at Mexta. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning. The food was overpriced and, honestly, it didn’t taste good at all. It just didn’t live up to the cost.
