Excellent service and delicious food. We did visit on an exceptionally quiet night, so I can’t speak to the noise level on busy nights. We went for a celebration dinner. We enjoyed it all. Really good cocktails, outstanding wagyu Wellington and super entrees. We will return!

We tried this place while visiting from Phoenix. Food was absolutely delicious and the service was superb. Chef Choi even came out to bring the dishes to us and explained the dishes. Presentation is outstanding and we plan to come here anytime we are in SD. We went with a number of small plates and deserts. Our favorite dishes were the octopus (perfectly done) and the bao taco (with bulgogi--these are just pure delight to your taste buds). We would also highly recommend hotteok with ice cream and the ahi tuna on crispy rice. The rest was delicious, but the bao and octopus just stood out. We took the mushroom bao tacos home for our family and they loved them.

It is such a pleasure to dine at Choi’s restaurant. This was our third time. The food is so tasty and so well prepared. The four of us shared the following plates: Bao tacos, we ordered three filled with meat and one with mushrooms (my favorite), then we ordered two Galbi stone bowls, a plate of roasted eggplant with an incredibly tasty babaghanoush and the plate of Ahi tuna perfectly seared. Everything was prepared with such care and delicious. We ended up with 3 deserts, special tiramisu with berries on top, some sort of a special pancake with vanilla ice cream and berries (yum) and the third was berry crème brûlée. All great. The only thing we missed was cappuccino to go with it. The service was very attentive, the chef came to say hello, which was lovely. The parking is provided in the building next door. On Saturdays they now have pleasant live music. We are definitely coming back even though it is a 35 hour minute drive for us.

The ever-evolving Menu is outstanding, and the specials are very creative. Service is top notch as well. Jiwoon and his people deeply care about your experience, and it shines through in everything they do. The Menus is always changing so if you haven't been in a while you won't recognize it. Great place give it a try.

We really enjoyed our dining experience at Choi's before the Padres game. The octopus, tacos and oysters were excellent. our server was excellent as well and thank you for the anniversary celebration!
