From the host Maria, to our server Briana our first experience at Kincaid was amazing. The sunset was perfect and Maria had no problem taking pictures. The fish and chips were delicious and the Amalfi Stroll was to die for!

I had the Alaskan Halibut (grilled) and it was dry and lacked flavor. My wife had the Black Cod (also grilled) which was moist and much more flavorful. Service was slower than we had experienced in the past as the waitress seemed to be servicing too many tables.

Went there to celebrate 5 birthdays. Server was very accommodating and helpful. Food was delicious and drinks were very good, especially the old fashioneds. We signed up for the Landry's membership because our bill was so high but the server didn't tell us that the rewards would be less by splitting the bill. That was a big disappointment. Other than that, Kincaid's is consistently a great restaurant.

My recent visit to Kincaid's for a late dinner and birthday celebration was a nostalgic return after nearly a decade. While the service was satisfactory, I was disappointed by the food, which fell short of my fond memories of this establishment. The prime rib, in particular, lacked the flavorful quality I had expected and was disappointingly fatty. The horseradish and mashed potatoes were also subpar, lacking in taste and quality. My wife's mahi-mahi seemed unseasoned, as if it had been simply grilled without any culinary finesse. On a positive note, the bread and drinks we had were enjoyable. However, overall, the dining experience failed to live up to the standard I remembered from Kincaid's in the past. In its current state, I would advise against spending your money here. While the ambiance remains pleasant, the food no longer justifies the cost.

Very good food & service with terrific ocean view. My family enjoyed Caesar salad, grilled salmon, lobster Mac & cheese, as well as the crab & shrimp fettuccine, as each was most tasty. The wine list was varied and had reasonable prices.

This review is for Thanksgiving Day dinner ONLY! We LOVE Kincaid's and come here often. Food is consistently delicious. It’s one of our favorite restaurants! Not today though unfortunately…restaurant was clearly overbooked and people were doing what people do at TG…they linger at tables. Our reservation was for 6:00. Upon arrival (on time) we were informed they were running 15min behind. We went to the bar to have a drink. By 6:30 table still not ready. They said we could eat in bar area…not our first choice but we were really hungry so decided to sit in there. We had a GREAT server (thank u, Brianna!)…she was attentive, which was impressive given how busy it was. Food came out relatively quickly. Turkey dinner plate was messy and not very appetizing looking…. Salads were good but Turkey way too salty. Stuffing and Mashed Potatoes were good. Pumpkin Pie was not good at all. Tasted dated. Only had 1 bite. Side note, my Aunt had fish (mahi mahi?) w/apples. She said it was cooked perfectly and very delicious. Please do a better job next year managing reservations and just paying more attn to food preparation and presentation. This is no way will deter us from coming back again soon…just not on Thanksgiving!

We had a 3:00 reservation for Thanksgiving dinner for my husband and I. Had a short wait which was expected. Service by Alex and kitchen servers was excellent. Always attentive but not pushy. Aways polite and professional by all. Always had smiles and answered all of our questions. One of my best memories for holiday dinner out.

Perfect choice for Thanksgiving! The views and food were incredible. The artichoke dip was light and savory. The crab and shrimp fettuccini was packed with flavor and served with large sized shrimp. The grilled salmon was buttery with a lemon zest. Great experience!

We had been coming here for numerous times but I don't know what happened Nov 7 Tuesday. we brought my son and his friend to celebrate hi upcoming bday and I always get the Filet mignon steak 9 0z along with other food. Med rare, we got a super rare steak so we had it brought back. This is bad, when they brought it back, a lady (not our waiter nor is she a waitress) came and brought us the steak. My partner cut it and there was still raw blood coming out but some are visually cooked. He didn't want to make a fuss so he said it was okay. When we took a bite of it, okay, this is where it got really disappointing, we know that they just probably microwaves the steak as it has that consistency and flavor of a steak that has been heated in the microwave. It did not taste fresh and like i said, it tasted bad. Not fresh from the grilI taste. I was getting super annoyed as my partner didn't want to say anything anymore as he hates confrontation but said we won't be going back anymore in Kincaids because of it. I was like, we spent money, ordered 4 drinks, 2 appetizers and 3 meals plus sides for that night. We are steak eaters. We had great steaks before in this restaurant. Not sure who made the decision on ruining that steak and thinking they can gain customers by trying to give us steak that tasted awful.

Beautiful restaurant and enjoyed sitting outside over the ocean! A bit difficult to talk as the waves were a loud, but worth it. Food was excellent, tasty and delicious. Service was excellent as well, very attentive and friendly. Loved it, will return.

Kincaid's main selling point is the view, esp during sunset. Absolutely spectacular! However, the food is slightly too salty all around. Had to have extra bread to lower the saltiness. Our server, Megan, was very good until the credit card time. We had separate bills but she forgot. Came back with the separate bills, I put each credit cards with the correct bill in the folder for her. Came back with the wrong bill put on the credit cards. She tried to argue ... but why ... she just needed to correct it. So she did and we both left her a good tip but I would have left her more if this did not happen.

We are frequent customers of Kincaid's in Redondo Beach, CA. However, recently we noticed that the amazing wait staff was changing and the great staff that previously worked there, many for years were missing. So something was missing from the place. I knew from the previous departed staff that there was a problem with the chef and all of a sudden 3 or 4 of the best wait staff in the South Bay were gone and not employed there any longer. The food is good at Kincaid's but there are other restaurants that also have good food with great people that made coming there a real pleasant experience. That so far is not happening any longer.

I lost my debit card in the parking meter and the Manager came out to help me. However there was nothing she could do but I appreciated the helpful attitude. This was our first time dining at Kincaid’s and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The seasoning of the food was spot on and didn’t need any additional salt or pepper, for me that is great! Our steaks (rib eye) were cooked to perfection- medium with still quite a bit of pink inside and quite juicy. I loved the garlic onion butter, it was delicious on the steak. The vegetables were cooked just right as well and the appetizer I had - the oven roasted crab and artichoke dip with the warm slightly toasted bread was absolutely fantastic. And the torched fig salad was delicious. Oh and it was my birthday and the crème brûlée was good but I don’t like custard so my family ate the dessert they brought to me for my birthday celebration. Our server was very friendly and attentive , as well as patient because my 94 year old mother took an extended time to make her meal decision and we didn’t feel rushed. Everyone in our party of 7 enjoyed their meal and was so full we had no room for dessert. We will definitely be returning in the future. A new favorite restaurant on my list. Than you for a most enjoyable birthday dinner.

A perfect place to have a celebration! We had a group of 14 for lunch and it was a great experience. The food was delicious, the ambience and view was spectacular, the service was excellent and the value can not be beat!

Kelsey was an exceptional server. She had several tables in her station but was able to provide good service to all. Chowder was one of the best we’ve had. Cod fish and chips and crab melt were our luncheon entrees. Crab melt was loaded with crab and without extensive fillers. Our only suggestion would be to have a fish entree available in addition to salmon, deep-fried fish and chips or shell fish. Something like sand dabs, sole, or ono would be a good menu addition.

The waitress had to be asked 3 times for lemon and a straw for water. My wife asked for salt and pepper. It did not come. My shrimp scampi was served burnt! The asparagus was cold. I showed it to the waitress and she said the chef gave her 2 on a plate and returned. We have lunch at Kincaid's about once a month. There are two many good restaurants for this quality and service at Kincaid's. We stopped having dinner there for the reasons similar to our experience on Wednesday.

This was always one of our favorite high end places in Redondo Beach. It is not even close to a two star restaurant now. Low cost food at high prices. So sad. Pamela our server was a delight . She and the location were the only redeeming features. Be sure to not over dress. We will not waste our time or money there in the future.

Food, drinks, and service were excellent. There are different views - some better than others, but the staff is very well trained and service was excellent, and the dishes were prepared and presented well. Parking was convenient too after you navigate through the parking lot to be near the restaurant.
