We celebrated our 50th anniversary at Steak 48 in Del Mar. It was our first visit as we were in the area for our anniversary weekend. I had notified the restaurant in advance that we were celebrating and all the staff serving us acknowledged the occasion and gave us an anniversary card from the restaurant. Our server Elise was very helpful in suggesting menu choices. The crispy shrimp appetizer was delicious as was the beet salad. We each ordered a filet as our cut of beef and both were cooked to our order and tasty. To top off the meal, Elise recommended the warm vanilla cake with ice cream which was decadent and delicious, and it came with a "Happy 50th Anniversary" spelled out in chocolate sauce on the plate. We will be back in the future.

Brian server amazing!!!! Food good. Presentation excellent. Train bussers to not handle glasses by putting fingers in. Have hosts/managers clean bathrooms regularly.
