Times have changed.. service is slow bartenders rather dance and be on the phone than servicing customers. The music is too loud. Tables were dirty ..

I was in town visiting and thought we would stop by again, since we had such a great time back on February. Boy I was I wrong, we were situated at the long high top that sits 2 additional parties (which is fine because they made it bearable), but after waiting ALL 3 parties had to ask for a server, once arrived took orders and then after that, unless you saw her walk to stop and ask, never came back. Stopped server to ask about not all the food was brought to table, her response I'm not the runner and also stated food for cold. She got the manager (she had the WORST) attitude ever, because we said our food was cold..the other parties food was cold as well. Funny thing is the server said a lot of people had been complaining about the food being cold. When we asked for some type of compensation, manager still had an attitude saying we should have told the server, we did, she informed the mgr (needlessly say they took off about $6) which was fine. The service was REALLY horrible from the server, food, and management. But I guess that's why they automatically put a 20% gratuity from the beginning, so it doesn't matter what type of service you receive. Overall, if it wasn't for the other 2 parties sitting at the table (people we didn't know) it would down right horrible. Beware when going during happy hours (5-6:30 pm), it's busy and food and service is subpar.

Very profesional and attentive. Everyone was a team player,“leaving no man behind”. Affordable and delicious! I love the ambiance and mixed crowd. I definitely recommend this place. I will definitely be going back.

I was impressed with the meats and oysters. They were really good for my impression. The only problem was that not all entrees and starters were consistent. My brother’s Mac and Cheese was cold (but large in size that we loved that). The gumbo was not that hot also, and felt that was made from a can. The Salmon was pretty good as well. But the service was horrible. We had oysters, wings and gumbo at the beginning and the plates stood around our table for all the time we spent there, even when we received our entries.

KSOB is a great spot for an inexpensive happy hour with your friends and family. The calamari is the best I’ve ever had and their drinks are a delight. I’ve always had fast service and tasty food. Highly recommend.

Service was awful. When I arrived the server wouldn’t stop hovering over us before we had a chance to look at the menu. She finally takes are order and then disappears. Doesn’t ask if we want another drink, how the food is or if we needed more water. In the middle of us eating she came and asked if we were ready for the bill. I’m not sure if her shift was ending but I just felt rushed and unwelcomed. Would not recommend.
