The service and food were absolutely wonderful! A small and intimate setting with amazing empanadas as a starter and the sea bass with farro two ways was perfection. 5* for the cocktail menu as well. Creative and delicious!

My wife and I both had the sea bass entrée, which came with a two-way faro and zucchini side and topped with a tempura green onion. The sea bass was prepared well, though we both found that the meal was a bit saltier than was needed, which tended to mask the other flavors. The restaurant instituted a new wine list that, while limited, had a nice selection to choose from, including a higher end reserve list. For dessert, we split an Italian cream bundt cake that, while tasty enough, was very dense and didn't seem to complement the traditional coconut cream frosting. While our entrées were very good, our dining experience wasn't up to the high standards we were expecting. Our server had to be reminded that we had ordered a bottle of wine, as we were well into our dinner, and seemed to forget we had ordered a salad, as well. Noise level was high, making conversation very difficult. We noted that for a restaurant striving for innovative dishes, their single vegetarian entrée was a pasta dish rather than a more imaginative option, which seems to be the fallback choice for many restaurants.

Delicious food good service, strangely attached to a bakery but could not get bread. Extremely small portions for the money with limited menu choices. Drink prices are high for the market.

4.5+ Stars! Excellent service by professional staff make this restaurant a joy to visit. The ambiance is relaxed but you should consider dressing up from the traditional jeans/shorts and T-shirt look so prevalent in NM. The service and food are both awesome. The mushroom salad, Sea Bass and green chili burger are my personal favorites. The menu changes constantly so keep an eye on their website.

Website did not indicate a tasting menu as the only option for dining . Ran out of multiple dishes with a 7:15 reservation time

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re so sorry your experience didn’t meet expectations. You’re absolutely right! It should have been clear on our website that we were offering a tasting menu that evening, and we apologize for the confusion and any inconvenience it caused. I did make sure to edit our website to be more clear so thank you for bring that to our attention! Running out of dishes by your reservation time is equally frustrating, and not something we find acceptable. We’re currently reviewing our internal systems to make sure this doesn’t happen again, especially to guests dining at prime hours.

Honestly, I’m really disappointed this was not a better dining experience. Let me start by saying that the food was amazing! Pork tenderloin, polenta, chickpea fries…absolutely delicious. The drinks as well! I had the cocktail special and my fiancé ordered the Piñon Fashion—both were outstanding. The ambiance, though…maybe our mistake was sitting on the patio. It lacked any real character, and we both agreed that the music felt like we were in a restroom in a hotel lobby. The entrance felt confusing—walked into an empty restaurant (their sister restaurant, Fancies) only to find no one in there to greet us initially. Once we did get seated, our server was mostly great. Except (cringe)…it really felt like they were trying to hard sell the fact that they have a new chef that’s a James Beard nominee who came from Los Poblanos. Don’t get me wrong, he’s obviously great because our food was absolutely incredible. Maybe just don’t lay it on so thick (the other server was also going on and on about the chef). Also, they forgot to bring us our salad. We didn’t speak up about it because honestly that felt like a rookie mistake and I was already disappointed in the experience. Food: 10/10. Everything else: meh.

Thank you so much for your feedback. We’re truly glad to hear you loved the food and drinks, and we’re grateful you gave us a try. That said, we’re also disappointed to learn that the overall experience didn’t match the caliber of the meal. We hear your comments about the ambiance and appreciate your honesty. We'll take a closer look at how we can improve that outdoor space, including the music and overall atmosphere. Your note about the overemphasis on the chef is appreciated. While we’re proud of the kitchen and the talent behind it, your perspective is a helpful reminder that enthusiasm should never overshadow hospitality. We hope you’ll consider visiting us again so we can deliver a more seamless experience to go with the dishes you enjoyed. Thank you again for your honest reflections.
