We had a great experience for our 51st Anniversary. John, our server was exceptional, knowledgeable and friendly. My sea bass was very tasty and my wife loved her onion soup and lobster tail. We even received a crème brûlée on the house as an anniversary gift. It was a very enjoyable evening, and we recommend OAK most highly.

Chilean sea base and crab cakes. We're superb service was excellent. Like most places these days, prices are out of sight.

The food was amazing from the mushroom bruschetta to the succulent lobster tail. The bread pudding dessert was great and the coffee was delicious and freshly brewed to perfection.

Our first time here and the food and service was outstanding. Our waitress was Bree and she gave us excellent service.

Food was great just a little pricy but better than bad food and pricy- our 3rd time there in the last couple months probably our number 1 go to restaurant in Myrtle Beach- they did away with their special lemon drink, but the bartender did a great job making me a similar one- great place

Chris changes his cocktail menu every 4 months or so, but if there is something you loved on a previous menu, he will recreate it for you to the best of his ability! We had no drinks, no apps, and shared the "family style" sides (that were really only a single portion amount) and the bill came to $200 with tip for 2 people. The steaks were okay, not bad, not great, just okay....so not worth the $. While waiting for food, we asked if they served bread, but the answer was "no, that's an app you can buy" however the app bread is made with jalapeños. For $100/pp amount, the least they could do is give you some bread with the meal. Needless to say, we won't be going back. Go to Bistro 90 instead, spend the same amount and get a meal that makes your mouth water.

Prime.We are very happy you gave your server,Cheryl,a 5 star rating,we apologize that you were underwhelmed with your chosen culinary creations consisting of an 8oz filet with Garlic mashed potatoes and our delmonico ribeye with bacon braised Brussels sprouts,and a Coke.Our sides and accompaniments are not actually advertised as family style and apologize if you were under the impression that they are.It is also true that we don't offer bread service,but we instead have our housemade old amsterdam Gouda,jalapeno,& Piquillo pepper biscuits with blueberry lavender jam and honey butter.We are sorry to hear that you won't be giving us a 2nd try,but would love if you did. If not, we wish you well on your culinary endeavors.

Cheryl, our waitress, made the evening fabulous. We ordered the wagyu filet. It literally melts in your mouth. We also ordered the mushroom bruschetta which was outstanding. We totally enjoyed our special night out.

O.A.K. Prime never disappoints! Chef JK has the most creative dishes in Myrtle Beach. The sea bass is one of my favorites and last night it was the most delicious dish I have had with this fish. The risotto, the crab, and the lemon buerre blanc sauce complimented the sea bass perfectly. It was melt in your mouth, slap my face, soooooooo good! I could have licked the plate, but my family would have called me out. The harvest salad was a light and refreshing way to start my meal with a smoky old fashioned from Chris. The staff is always on top of it here and are smiling and eager to please without being overbearing. Finished our meal with a bourbon pecan creme brulee complete with candle for my birthday. Husband had the pork chops (a new entree for him as he is usually the beef guy). He surprised us by devouring the entire plate of food! Daughter had the filet and a side of the fried spinach (her favorite). The octopus starter is also a family favorite. And those biscuits! Get an order to bring home. Run....don't walk to this delightful gem in the heart of Carolina Forest.
