⭐ Rating: 3 out of 5 Visited ZUZU for our anniversary. The ambiance was great, and we appreciated the complimentary dessert and drink sample. Two managers checked in on us, which was a nice touch. The walnut shrimp appetizer was delicious, but the wagyu gyoza lacked flavor. My wife enjoyed the NY strip; my chicken was too sweet. Biggest issue: a 20% gratuity and an additional 20% service charge were both added to our bill — a surprise not explained upfront. Combined with a rushed greeting and a strict 90-minute limit, it left the evening on a sour note. Great food, but transparency needs improvement.

Took my husband here for his birthday. Had a great time. Tomasita was attentive, informative and pleasant. The food was delicious, even though the Waygu skewers are not worth $27 based on portion size. The honey walnut shrimp was our favorite. It was a little dark inside but that was fine with us. All the other staff was pleasant, attentive and accommodating. We definitely will be returning, just won’t order those delicious pricey skewers.
