   I work for a law firm and I support 8 attorneys. I always send them to have their business meals at Doppio Zero in San Carlos because the food is delicious, the staff is warm and helpful and the restaurant is always clean.

   Excellent pizza! And the service is fantastic. Great place for an informal meal in San Carlos.

   We brought friends here and they loved it too. Our experiences at DZ have consistently been excellent. The food is great, as is the service and the cost in these times of higher costs is not too bad. It is rather noisy and we could talk to each other so, not too bad. Our faves are the Doppoi Zero pizza, the Potato croquettes, the Beat salad and the Pear and Arugula salad. And we never have any space left for dessert :)

   Where to go for Italian lunch or dinner in San Carlos? Without doubt its Doppio Zero or DZ for short. Staff are knowledgeable and amicable. Atmosphere is understated chic. and the food? speaks for itself! I've eaten there 5 times in past 3 months and each choice was memorable for its taste. All my friends agree. It's 10 out of 10 from me.

   Our second visit. Bob salad and Doppio Zero pizza were excellent. Great options for wine by the glass. Great service and nice interior. Our reservation was at 6:00pm. It got progressively louder inside until we had to almost south to talk with our friends. Still, would go again. Great food!

   We've been here 4 times already for the delicious and authentic margherita pizza. Great service on several of those occasions by John. We'll be back!

   We have been here many times and have been to other locations however this last time the San Carlos location really didn’t live up to every other time we have gone. The food lacked flavor this time.

   Great Choice for an event, lunch or dinner. Great outdoor and indoor seating. The Pizza's and pastas are the best anywhere...thin crust, unusual topping combos, (extra yummy!); Don't skip the appetizers, crunchy potato balls, or truffle fries. Lots of cocktails, wine and beer choices. Reasonable prices and Great service!

    I’ve had the octopus there before and it’s been great. So, I ordered it again but this time the octopus seemed more ‘fishy’ tasting. When the server asked how our meal was I said it was okay but it seemed not fresh. He took the dish back but what he came back with was the same uneaten portions but just had been cooked more, causing it to just be more chewy. In any case, the good thing is before we left, I shared that the octopus was not very good and they didn’t charge me for the octopus; that I appreciated. In addition, they were very cordial and had offered us also a drink or dessert on the house. I only rate this as fair based on how the addressed the concern I had with the octopus by just cooking it longer to the point was it was not edible.
