bin6south is an intimate Wine Café and Bottle Shop actualized by owner Bren Ankrum. The restaurant is led by Chef and owner Kelsey Carter, classically trained at Johnson & Wales Culinary University, With lifetime of experience at top restaurants in Seattle, New Orleans and stint at a Michelin Star restaurant in Germany. Ran and operated by General Manager and owner Andy Mayes.

The restaurant is a handmade gem built from scratch by the same team that operates it. It houses twelve seats, six of which reside at a community table while the other six are front and center in the kitchen. The cozy cafe is also home to a custom wine cellar which houses over three hundred carefully curated, global wine labels, and is nestled in the corner for every patron to see. Achieving Wine Spectator's Award of Excellence for all three years of operation.

    This was one of our favorite dining experiences anywhere ! It felt like we were in our own kitchen with a private chef. The wine list was unique and delightful. We were able to taste multiple options before deciding upon our favorite. Apps were extraordinarily delicious. We got the Bin Board. Our entree was equally exceptional. The Red Snapper was prepared to perfection with a beautiful presentation. A unique “ black”themed Pork chop is hard to describe so hope the picture suffices! Could go on and on about the experience talking with the chefs as they prepared the food in front of us, but this is why you must go see for yourself!

    Beautiful tiny place that focuses on minimal seating to ensure maximum quality Our lunch was incredible, the staff was super friendly and the wine selection was fantastic. Be aware that there is only one table that seats 6 so if it is just two of you and want a table you’ll be sharing, otherwise consider the bar. Either way it is one of the most unique dining experiences in the area and you won’t be disappointed.
