M is one of the higher end restaurants in Avalon. As such, expectations are also higher. Our party ordered the hot spinach dip…rather bland with break your teeth (cooked pizza dough?) bread points. Two of our group had mojitos…sadly lacking much alcohol. Saving grace of the meal were the mains. Nicely prepared shrimp and chicken dishes. I’m hoping they remember that not all their customers are only there once. Repeat business and good reviews should always be a goal.

We were celebrating my dad's 70th birthday and the food was pretty good. Unfortunately, the swordfish my husband ordered came out very undercooked but they were quick to replace it. I had noted that I had hoped that we could have a special dessert for my dad but they didn't offer any and we just went on our way. But overall it was clean and nice and not super loud.

Our waitress, Joanna was perfecta, her smile literally made us happy too. The food was so good we went back twice and we were only dining three nights on the Island this trip .

We made reservations for an outside table at 10:00 am. When we arrived they did not have our table ready and were told it would be a 25 minute wait. I received many texts and emails for this upcoming reservation and expected it to be available. It was not and we were put in the back of the restaurant after they pushed tables together and turned on the lights.

The food was good but Eggplant parmigiana on the online menu was not available. The entree came out very quickly, before we had barely started our salads, so that was odd. Otherwise the food was good and location was nice with a good view. Would eat here again!

Everything from the food to the service was absolutely exceptional. Probably one of our best meals that we had in Avalon during the week that we stayed. The staff was so incredibly attentive to our table of five.

I took my daughter for her 25th birthday and it was one of the best experiences that we could have had! The food and service was amazing! I have already recommended M Restaurant to a couple friends :)

The only thing we enjoyed was the view. We had several people say it was THE place to go we didn’t have a good experience with the server. The food just ok.
