I was thoroughly impressed with the service and food. I was initially worried about getting too much food and having to take a bunch of leftovers home but the portion size is PERFECT. We split the tomato bisque for an appetizer and the PG Biscuit and the French toast for our main meals. OMG everything was delicious and we were both satisfied without being miserably full. The noise level is, well, not there lol. It was super quiet. My only complaint is more on the museum. I did not see any signage informing me to use a different entrance from the main doors. Thank goodness for a patron showing us where to enter prior to the museum being open. Just know, if you go before 12pm on Sunday to use the nondescript door to thw right of the main doors. Will definitely be back!

I have been here twice for lunch with friends. It is a beautiful space - almost like outdoors, but with heat/air conditioning. The sound level is not bad given the hard surfaces with the glass window and the walls.... there are sound baffling decorations on the walls and the wood baffles on the ceiling that make all the difference. The service has been excellent. I really loved my food especially the whole fried okra. I hope to go back soon.

We couldn’t get into 42 Bar and Table and found Park Grill as an alternative nearby. It was a good alternative. The venue is new and clean and quiet and in a beautiful treed setting. We were there on a Sunday and the menu offers typical brunch items and fare you would find on a lunch menu. The service was very good, the food was quite good and the price reasonable for the setting. It is a good go-to place in Little Rock.

Brunch here is delicious! The pimento cheese is a tasty starter. I have ordered the burger numerous times and it does not disappoint! I love the sweet potato fries with the come back sauce, too!

Probably our fault for not realizing there was an outside music event on the lawn but the full parking lot and ability to make a 7pm last minute reservation should of been the clue. The food/service wasn’t bad it just wasn’t excellent. The majority of patrons were outside which left several indoor empty tables. Hostess walked us to several open tables but all were dirty, so had to wait for table. Ended up at the one table with the worst view- facing the kitchen door. We could see the staff hustling to carry for the other guests (mostly outside). So it’s not like they were sitting around doing nothing. But our table got left out of the equation. Took over 10 minutes for us just too get water, let alone our cocktails or time to place our order. The server we did get was very pleasant and friendly but just didn’t have the time to wait on our table. The food was good. The pimento cheese and tomato soup was excellent. I’m still craving more if that pimento cheese! Rest of food was just a measure above average. Wine selection limited. I’m thinking the place is great for lunch (open space with plenty of windows and a view) but the white bright over head light and distracting traffic in and out (staff and patrons) didn’t make for a relaxing dinner.

Beautiful space, decent service, terrible food. Menu was very limited, no vegetarian main course option, the highly recommended Sea Bass was so flavorless that no one at our table wanted to eat it. Please find a new chef, so many culinary artists in Little Rock could turn this around.
