Stellar kitchen staff at DTG. The drinks, apps, bread (Bobby Boy), entrées, and dessert were wonderful. It would be nice if they would put vintages on the menu for wines by the bottle.

The Downtown Grille has become one of 3 of our favorite restaurants in Winston-Salem. We usually eat early (Reservations are highly recommended) as we are attending a play later. Rocky, our waiter did an excellent job of educating us on the menu as well as waiting on us and checking on us. Staff is friendly and restaurant is not that big so again, reservations are necessary. Food is outstanding, selections are limited; I'm not a fan of a 4 page menu as it speaks to me that the restaurant is 'hit and miss' on the items. The Downtown Grille is quality all the way.

DG is one of our favorites. Food is exceptional and a really great bar selection. Bartenders are excellent. The Chef takes great pride in his food and it shows. Good variety of menu items to fit most palates. Service is what you would expect in fine dining. All around a wonderful experience.

Wonderful restaurant. Great food and service. We had the tuna crudo, the shrimp app and the strawberry salad to start. All were delicious only critique would be too much sauce on the plate for the tuna and the salad was also overdressed for our liking. We followed those items with the miso salmon and the gnocchi. The salmon was seasoned well and cooked perfectly. The gnocchi was a fantastic dish and the pasta had the perfect consistency between the browned outside and pillowy ricotta inside. Sparkling wine is on special on Saturday so we also enjoyed a glass of sparkling rosé. For dessert we had the tres leches cake. It was absolutely one of the best desserts in Winston.

Great atmosphere and menu only suggestion was the sauce over filet and ribeye was very salty. I have eaten here several times and first time I felt this. Great staff and menu and drinks! We will be back.

Downtown grill continues to deliver quality meals. The shrimp appetizer and strawberry salad were delectable. The lamb was perfectly cooked and presented. Our waiter, Rocko, was attentive and caring. Very pleasant meal.
