Founded by the Carneiro family, Novo Brazil Brewing Company is an international, award-winning brewery based in Southern California; guided by its Brazilian soul. The food was better than the ambience would have led us to believe. We love sports bars and if there were any big sports on, I can see how that would be a fun place - but the ambience was more like a cafeteria than either a sports bar or a nice restaurant with good Brazilian food? It needs more… color? Plants? Lighting? Something.

It’s a great place to gather, they have a play area for small children in the patio, big screen TV to watch sporting events. The Kombucha is great and the food refreshing. Out server Josh was accommodating, knowledgeable and amazingly friendly and funny.

I love Brazilian food and this was extremely disappointing. We had 4 apps and 7 main dishes and none were good. I would not go back.

**edited** The did respond quickly to this review and sorted out the charges. Added customer service stars for that.** Not a snob with giving reviews (probably left 2 in my life). I ordered the ribeye medium rare ($42) Parts of it were actually rare while other parts were well done. Baked potato was super nasty. Beer was good ($7-$8). I payed for my meal but then come to find out on my bank statements I was actually charged $108 for my meal? I tipped 20%. Crap experience and would never return or recommend.

Such a nice improvement over the dark Tilted Kilt that used to be in that location. Bright almost cafeteria like but still nicer that what was there before. I found the Poke Nachos to be excellent!
