Located in the heart of the South 1st district, Nomade is a Yucatecan kitchen celebrating fresh coastal seafood, artisanal spices from Merida, and wood-fired cooking. From the team behind Lucky Robot, Chef Jay and restaurateur Adam Weisberg share their experiences in the region and hope to transport you to the lush jungles of the Yucatán.

Heirloom masa, sustainably caught seafood, and artisanal spices are used to create traditional and contemporary Yucatecan dishes. Our bar features a collection of additive free agave spirits and a Latin inspired wine list. Additionally, we are a 100% gluten-free restaurant, seed oil free, and offer an extensive plant-based menu.

    Amazing experience. The food was very tasty and authentic and the service was great. This place felt very homey and you can tell that everyone that works here has a very good understanding of the food they are serving you and all of the ingredients. Can’t wait to come back and try it again.

    Two girlfriends and I had brunch at Nomadé and we all walked away huge fans of this place. The masa waffles were some of the best waffles any of us had ever had. All our other food and drinks were very tasty. The staff was very kind and just the right level of attentive. It's a super cute spot with a very calming vibe. Highly recommend!

    The food and overall atmosphere were outstanding! We had a minor issue with our meal, but the manager addressed it quickly and professionally. The customer service was excellent throughout our visit. I highly recommend making a reservation in advance fortunately, I did, and it made a big difference since the place gets busy. Definitely worth it! Overall, I’d give it a solid 4.5 stars. We did have a small issue, which is the only reason it’s not a full 5, but the staff handled it well. I’d definitely go back, especially to try their dinner menu or the crudo selection!

    Nomade has become one of my favorite dining spots in Austin. I absolutely love the ambiance and their creative, vegetarian & vegan friendly menus. Everything was delicious and we had a lovely time.

    I cannot urge you enough to go experience Nomade. First off, the service is above and beyond. Staff is friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. The tequila is second to none. Sip it straight up or enjoy a simple yet delicious margarita. The food is simply amazing. The mix of flavors is on point. Nothing boring here! The ambience is a if you've been transported. You have left Austin and you are relaxing on vacation. You cannot go wrong here. Celebrate a special occasion. Enjoy a romantic date night. Or simply go so that your taste buds can spend time in euphoria ☆

    Everything about our visit was exceptional! The food was amazing — so many wonderful flavors blended into the recipes. We especially appreciated that all of the food is cooked without seed oils.

    Most of the seating is outdoors. The ambience is just incredible. It felt like we were on a tropical island. The only complaint is the flies are very persistent. Especially after the food arrives.

    Experience was great!!! The waiter assigned to us was not very attentive and we did have to flag them down several times. But overall great experience!
