Very nice , beautiful view . However they seated us near the bathroom , bartender at bar walked by us 15-20 minutes before asked us our drink order . Waiter did not come to us for 20 minutes to take order .

Very nice ambiance upstairs and more quiet. Food was excellent as was the drinks . The outdoor dining was very pretty but too hot to eat outside when we were there to dine . Would be nice if there was live music and which days they have it . Also post when they have the live music. . All in all a great experience.

I've been coming to The Mill Pond since I was a kid (half century!) I was really looking forward to seeing the resurrection of this long standing restaurant. Loved it when Jerry Griffen owned it, then Paul LaCarrubba and finally Dean who also owned Piccolo's. It was our go-to restaurant for family celebrations and gathering with friends. We went last night to celebrate a friends birthday. Ordered calamari for the table and it was offered prepared three ways only to find out that the only difference between the preparations was the out of a jar sauce that they plopped in a bowl with the dried up and overdone calamari. Supermarket quality was served next. We didn't even finish the two rolls we ordered. My friend ordered the skate and very disappointed. 0/10 on the food, the servers were polite but not well trained. They left dirty dishes on the table although they came by several times to see if we had everything we needed - good food would have been nice. Now to the renovation...THEY SHOULDN'T HAVE WASTED THEIR MONEY. Cold, sterile, without any ambiance. The drinks weren't bad so check out the bar...maybe they'll offer you some nuts.

This was my first time back here since the renovations. The restaurant looks great as it was definitely in need of some updating. The food and service were both good but neither overly impressive. The view as always from the deck was lovely. I would return as the atmosphere is nice and it's conveniently located near me.

The restaurant was recently renovated and it is now less cozy than it was. Charging to use a credit card is not warranted for a restaurant that charges $67 for a filet mignon. It’s too pricey for what they are offering and where they are located.

The food was expensive and underwhelming. We were upstairs and the room was so loud that we couldn’t hear the people at our table. I won’t go back

Our first time back since the update and it was amazing. We started with the Hearts of Palm salad. Crabtree and also the swordfish with mushroom and herb risotto. Everything was truly outstanding. Add an Affogato dessert to finish the day. Our server Erin was really great. Pleasant and helpful. See you again soon.

Remodeled with emphasis on the bar which had a very good crowd. View of the water is great at high tide but no A/C in outdoor/indoor space so comfort is based on temperature & humidity. Now a steak house with seafood selections. Food is good. Lobster in papardelle was too chewy but the dish was quite good. Good service & nice atmosphere

Love the recent renovations, however, the noise level is awful. A table of four had to shout at each other to be heard even without any music playing. The food and service was great but we would only go back if we could sit outdoors on a pleasant day.
