   From the welcome upon arrival to our drinks at the bar to our table, servers, drinks and food everything was outstanding as usual

   The food was delicious. The atmosphere was delightful. In nice weather there is open air dining. I have been here before and will be coming back.

   We had a reservation for Mother's Day for 4. Another family member wanted to join and they refused to allow us to add an additional seat claiming it wasn't fair to the other guests which I would understand if there was no space. The Maitre D was very curt and had a bit of an attitude with us to start the day off. However, there was a table of 10 next to us who was already seated and eating with a high chair at the end of the table not used as the toddler was walking all over the cushioned bench until finally he fell under the table. There was plenty of room to add a chair. Finally when the family departed they sat a family of 6 there so there was even more space than before. Our appetizers took an hour to arrive after ordering. The avocado salad was basically guacamole with chips as opposed to a salad. The flank steak portion was not a healthy portion for the price. The grilled chicken served with the gnocchi was pounded so thin it was as if I was eating cardboard as it was overcooked and had no flavor. I was extremely disappointed in our visit since I have heard great things about the establishment. Definitely will not be returning.

   Hi Karen Maher: We take all feedback seriously & have thoroughly investigated your claims. The reservation you made through the OpenTable app was for 4 people. You showed up with 5 people knowing we weren't able to accommodate a larger party at that time. Moreover, you admitted that you called the restaurant earlier in the week & were told same. That is on you. As far as your comments on our food, our records indicate that what you described could not have occurred as stated, as our restaurant does not serve flank steak. Point 2, the avocado salad on our menu consists of avocado, blue cheese, granny smith apples, grapes and sherry vinaigrette with tortilla strips. It was served as described & is a customer favorite. Interestingly, when checked on you told staff everything was great.

   Unfortunately the waiter dropped the ball and wasn’t attentive to our table and forgot to bring out our entrees. Our food did not arrive until we mentioned that tables around us who arrived after us were served their main courses. It was only then our food came out 5 minutes later. The waiter apologized and the manager said the kitchen was busy (but not too busy for the other tables meals obviously) and had nothing more to say. To make up for the long wait we were compensated by taking off one beverage (modelo).

   Stephanie; Thanks for your review and patronage. You're right I did mention the kitchen was busy but, I also apologized, thanked you for your patience and explained that when it's busy the kitchen works very hard to make sure your food comes out as ordered with no mistakes. The chef does not rush his orders for the sake of getting food out quicker. We do our very best to get things done in a reasonable amount time. Again, we are sorry you waited a few extra minutes.    Everything was wonderful from the cocktail at the bar to dinner at a great table. We never felt rushed and all was delicious. Looking forward to our next night there!

    Always a wonderful experience. The food is always delicious and atmosphere is lovely. A great place to go to connect with friends and/or family.
