Nestled in a historic downtown Pineville building that dates back to the 1890s, The Garrison is a 2-story restaurant featuring indoor and outdoor seating, a full-service classic cocktail bar, upstairs dining, and modern American cuisine as well as upscale bar bites. Think - the best burger in town, 24-hour brined chicken wings, a ribeye steak sandwich, chops, fresh local seafood, and more.

The Garrison was an excellent choice for birthday/date night. Brooke took awesome care of us. Cocktails and food were perfect and the restaurant is so cozy and pretty inside. Would definitely recommend it!

My wife and I love this hidden gem. No matter if it’s just for quick drinks or a nice date night, The Garrison never disappoints. You can’t go wrong here. Everything on the menu is great and the service is top notch h no matter if seated or at the bar.

Went for a girls lunch. Shared two starters (Crab hush puppies and deviled eggs), each had a salad (McCullough and watermelon burrata), and finished with key lime pie. We each had two different cocktails, of which were absolutely incredible. The food, the server, and the drink, all superb. Absolutely worth the cost, can't wait to go back and try everything else

My boyfriend and I love the Garrison for little date nights! We had the fried ravioli (7/10), fried green tomato (10/10), two drinks and two entrees (the Cheerwine short rib could’ve had more Cheerwine taste but it was excellent!) Our server Faith was amazing, attentive and just a joy to be around. She recommended the sticky toffee pudding and OH MY GOSH. It’ll be a complete shame if that doesn’t make its place back on the menu - it’s one of the best desserts we’ve ever had. Seriously.

Manger was very rude when we we not happy with our drink service. She said it was no skin off her nose. But it was all my fault in her eyes. That’s okay as I don’t need to visit this restaurant again.

This was our second visit to The Garrison. It was just as amazing as our first visit. The food and drinks were great. Our server Mary was amazing with recommendations and overall service. We will definitely be back!

This establishment was amazing! Excellent & friendly staff all around. The Chef “Sully” was top tier in knowledge of the food & his many years of culinary excellence proves why the menu & food quality is amazing. I will def. Be back again.

This was our second time dining here and we were just as pleased with this dining experience as we were the last! We were seated immediately upon arrival. Service was friendly, prompt and attentive. The cocktails were deliciously creative and well garnished. The shishito peppers are a must try- uniquely prepared and piled high! My ahi tuna bowl was yummy and my husband throughly enjoyed his Strawberry salad with loads of blackened chicken. If you haven’t visited this part of Pineville, you should give it a try!

It was our first visit and we parked behind the building easy two minute walk. We were taken upstairs, it was a nice atmosphere, high top table, comfortable chairs, with perfect foot rest. We had cocktails, very tasty, and buffalo cauliflower, my only small issue was the blue cheese dressing was runny, it needs to be chunky and thicker. I had the shrimp and grits and my wife the short ribs, both entrees were delicious and more than sufficient portions. We were too stuffed for dessert. We will definitely be back.
