My friend and I went to Sea Smoke on July 1. We were seated promptly, and got settled before our waiter came to the table. We started with the Octopus which had a terrific flavor but was a touch chewy, overall a good choice. My friend thoroughly enjoyed the medallions of beef and my sea bass was moist and delicious. Both were cooked to perfection. We finished the meal by sharing the candy bar dessert, it was rich and absolutely delicious. We both enjoyed two cocktails each and our total bill was $217. We both thought that it was a good value for the quality of the food and atmosphere. We will be back again.

My wife and I continue to enjoy the food, service, and ambiance of Sea Smoke. It is not inexpensive but one on the top restaurants in the Capital area.

Wonderful location. Sat overlooking the Hudson with the gentle breeze adding to the ambience. Service took about 7 mins before anyone came to the table but once they did service was very good. The ahi tuna nachos are a winner. Calamari was outstanding The lobster roll was expensive but very good too. I wish I’d brought a bigger appetite because the menu was wonderful. Drinks were overprice but good. Overall a wonderful experience and I would go back to explore other items on the menu in this beautiful setting. Value-wise because of the cost I have it 4 stars for that category. I highly recommend this dining experience . Doc

My husband and I met some friends visiting from Scottsdale who have never been here everything was Delicious from Drinks to Apps then Dinner and Dessert! It’s one of my favorite Restaurants in the area!

Beautiful setting with a great vibe! Transformed the area into something to be really admired! Service was outstanding - very attentive and great team work. Food was also very good but a bit over-priced.

Great experience, I really enjoyed it. Have never been and will be back. Our server was great and the food tasted really good. A bit $$$ but worth a special visit.

We were celebrating my birthday. The food was exceptional. We had the salt and pepper calamari (best we've had since moving to the capital region) and the sour dough ciabatta with a ricotta dip which was very good. For the main meal I had the scallops which were perfectly cooked and on a beet puree that was pretty and a nice addition that didn't overwhelm the scallops. The fregola pasta salad side was not my cup of tea. Did nothing to elevate the scallops. My husband's salmon was cooked perfectly to his selection and the zucchini side was cooked nicely, not overcooked. Dessert was a real standout. The vanilla bean cheesecake had complex flavors, perfect crust, and the drizzle of sweet basil syrup was a fun addition which made the plate look pretty and didn't overwhelm the strawberry balsamic puree. The raspberry sorbet was delicious. The service was spot on. We sat on the outside deck. The weather was perfect and the ceiling fans meant there were no bugs. Music in background was pleasant and didn't interfere with our conversation. It was very expensive, but it was a treat for my birthday. Might go again for appetizers and dessert.
