Tasia was our server and she was super sweet and attentive. The staff from check in to leaving was phenomenal. The dj was dj’ing with good clean songs like the 90’s selection. Now, the only thing I dislike was the timeframe we had to eat. It was given 1.5 but I guess I understand that it’s an amazing place, they wanted to make sure that everyone was able to book a reservation there. When you’re with friends, 1.5 hours isn’t enough especially with the atmosphere being the best ever. I’d still come back because everything was just that good

I felt scammed. We had a good family dinner, until I checked my receipt. The server never gave us a bill of payment. He quickly went over the bill using his tablet. Well….. my mother and I ended up tipping 40% each, giving the server almost $150 in tips, for barely there service. The server NEVER mentioned the automatic 20% gratuity, nor the “service fee”. Paying a tip on top of my own tip is nasty work. We didn’t discover this until our credit cards had been used and we requested a receipt. If in Houston, request your bill of service and Read the fine print on the menus. Houston left a bad taste in my mouth.

I was here for my birthday and everything was above standards. The food, customer service, drinks, ambiance, EVERYTHING! Will definitely be back!

Love the atmosphere and the staff was great. I am disappointed certain establishments continue to add gratuity along with a service fee. This ultimately derails repeat clientele because regardless of the service the gratuity comes and a service fee (why).

Doves isnt just a restaurant its an EXPERIENCE . The interior design is Immaculate !! Food and drinks were very good.

This was our second visit, and unfortunately, it did not live up to our first experience. The ambiance was lacking, the kitchen service was noticeably slow, and there was no live music as previously enjoyed. Additionally, the published dress code was not enforced, which contributed to an environment that felt less refined, including inappropriate behavior at nearby tables that made our group uncomfortable. We also encountered a ceiling leak, which further detracted from the overall experience. I had high hopes of bringing my cousins based on my first visit, but sadly, I won't be returning.

Awesome brunch spot! beautiful ambience and decor. Our waitress was excellent, checked on us like 10X. Had the lobster and grits and a mimosa tower. My date had the crab cake and salmon benedict, also looked delicious. The music was also on point and brunch appropriate - highly recommend!

I celebrated my birthday with my girls. After making a reservation we still waited about maybe 30 mins after. We were given complimentary champagne which was cool. My big issue was with the waitress horrible. She didn’t offer nor recommend anything even when told it was our first time there. She was super slow we had to even ask for silverware after receiving our food, asked for napkins several times. When they came out to sing Happy Birthday she rushed it and just slide the complimentary birthday cake on the table no where near me. I didn’t see the cake even tho she knew it was my birthday. I feel like a lot of places when you have a large group, and the gratuity is automatic is added most wait staff do the minimum. I did say all I said most. I don’t mind the tipping especially if you have great service. I mind when the service is horrible and you still get a great tip. Even with the places have the automatic gratuity/service fee. Please make sure the staff automatically give great service as well. I understand it’s super busy at times. Just please be mindful of others. I will definitely be back to give Dove another shot. Hopefully my next experience will be much better, and I may give a much better review.
