I made the reservation via open table and was all set and looking forward to the weekend but the next morning I took a call from the Ivy, enquiring about my reservation and asking if I really wanted to book the Counter Bar. I'd intended that the booking was a romantic table for two to celebrate my wifes birthday, so praise indeed to the staff for taking the time to ensure our booking was corrected. The evening from start to finish was perfection, the reception, the service, the cocktails, the food, the wine, the toilets and above all the Staff. A lot of "the's" but recalling the evening did that!!

My daughter and I went to The Ivy for dinner before seeing "Dear Evan Hanson" and we had a terrific time. We sat at the counter so got special attention from the bartenders who also served us. We shared a burrata with smoked beetroot which was wonderful. She had the excellent liver and I had the Iberico pork cutlet--both great. It's a beautiful place with a lovely muted buzz and the food is delicious. We will be back.

Greeted warmly and taken straight to the bar where we were seated. Exactly as I had planned. Loved the intimate, nostalgic setting complimented by young, enthusiastic staff. The food was perfectly lovely but not outstanding, I would have liked more lobster in my lobster spaghetti. Nevertheless, a great experience overall.
