The team did an awesome job from start to finish. Staff was outstanding, food delicious and the after dinner cigars were the cherry on top. Well be back many times over for sure!

Kemah Steak Company was a pleasant surprise. I can’t believe that we haven’t already been there. Our reservation was 5pm on a Saturday. We went early because it was a holiday weekend. The restaurant wasn’t busy so it was easy to enjoy the quiet ambiance. Our waitress, Victoria, was excellent. She was polite, professional and efficient. The menu at KSC doesn’t wear you out. It’s very straight forward which I appreciate in a steakhouse. We started our date-night dinner with a Dirty Matini and a Woodford Reserve Double on the large rock. The drinks were excellent and we had time to enjoy them with quiet conversation. We ordered the Allen Brothers 20 oz. Prime Bone In Ribeye with the 3-Cheese Grits and a Baked Potato. The steak, which we split, was cooked to a perfect medium temperature that truly melted in my mouth with the delicious garlic-butter. The grits were yummy and the baked potato was delicious. We were looking for a steak night out dinner and the KSC delivered. We will definitely return.

We had a great experience overall. The food and drinks were excellent. The service was very good and the server was patient and allowed us to pace our meal without being rushed. The Allen Brothers steaks are excellent and worth the modest price increase. Parking is a little limited but there is paid public parking 1 block away.

Best steak we have ever tried. Better than Ruth's Chris, Flemings, Perry's, Eddy Vs, etc.

This was an outstanding dining experience. The meal was spectacular. The restauant is well appointed with interesting history, and the staff was exceptional.

We enjoyed our meal here. We both started out with drinks. Tried 2 on the specialty list and we enjoyed both. I had the filet, it was butterflied and cooked as I requested. My guest had the ribeye, it was also cooked as requested. We both got the magic garlic butter sauce. Yumm. For sides (serves 2) we got the truffle mac and cheese, it was the perfect amount of cheese with pene pasta noodles and not too cheesy. Mashed potatoes had a hint of garlic. Now the desert.. OMG we got the butterscotch bourbon bar, a must to try, so good, and the ice-cream served with it, I will be craving that for days. Said it was made just for them by a local ice cream shop. That said, we found a new place we enjoyed, it was small, quiet, romantic and yummy. We will return with others.

Excellent steak, properly prepared, very quick service. Pleasant and polite staff, with a personal touch. Drinks were excellent. Cigars were reasonably priced and the lounge was a wonderful place to relax and enjoy. I will return for sure.

Great service and great food! I’m pretty certain they could stop selling steak, change their name to the Kemah Grit House and they’d still crush it. 10/10 recommend the grits.
