Food was very, very underwhelming. The chicken was overcooked and it also took so long to get our food (only 2 entrees). While the ambience is nice, not worth the money.

We had a great family dinner at Goodfolks. The ambiance is light and modern. Our service was outstanding. The food is good, very large portions. Their chicken is fabulous - both the grilled and fried chicken. We loved our time here!

We came on the recommendation of some friends and as suggested I made a reservation so we wouldn’t have to wait a long time or be sat at an undesirable table, which seemed like a good idea. Upon arrival the hostess was anything but cordial as she told people in front of us that there was a minimum of a one hour wait, quite rudely, and then looked away as they stood there. We were then sat at the smallest table ever. I’m sure those small tables are meant for 2, however, if it’s more than one person, you barely have a room for a plate and a glass or a cup and a book. The food was mediocre, nothing to write home about. I had the maple grits and I’m not sure what I expected… But I got a few tablespoons of grits, literally swimming in maple syrup. The bacon was overcooked, the eggs were undercooked and the hash browns were tasteless. I will say that our server, Jeffrey D was cordial, attentive, and when we asked about a different table, he seemed genuinely concerned, but told us that unfortunately there was nothing he could do. While most everyone we encountered were very customer friendly for the most part, I doubt that we will return. It’s sad really… Because I was so hoping it would become our new favorite place, but obviously it will not.

Great food, a bit expensive for what you get, but quality and menu is great. Great little restaurant though, love to drop in here once a month or so.

I noticed 3 parties were turned away because they didn't have a reservation. Yet open tables were everywhere. It made me feel uncomfortable, even though I had a reservation. This restaurant gives a unnecessary snobbish vibe to it. Because they turn away so many people, I am certain they are losing tons of money. The food preparation took far too long in comparison to other restaurants. The wait-staff were super friendly and very accommodating. This was the only dept. of the restaurant that gave outstanding service.

First time there and the staff were so kinda/sweet, that I thought I might get a cavity :). The bartender on duty (forgot to get her name) was very professional and engaging in conversation. Amber (our Waitress) was everything you can want in a person guiding you through my first time there. Definitely will be coming back…assuming I can find parking on a Saturday.

Lunch here was a great experience. It was very busy but our waiter was great. Our food was excellent-haven’t had fried chicken that good in ages. I look forward to coming here again.

So unbelievably loud that we could not have a conversation. there is not a single soft surface in the place. Food was fine but not special. Service was good.
