Chefs Patrick Pham and Daniel Lee have over 25 years of combined experience in Japanese cuisine and sushi. They established their culinary careers in Houston where they worked together for years before creating their own restaurants.

Pham and Lee teamed up to bring new curated dining concepts to Houston’s food scene and kicked off a series of omakase pop-up dinners called Secret Taste. Pham and Lee then opened Kokoro in the Bravery Chef Hall in Downtown Houston followed by Handies Douzo in the Houston Heights.

Aiko is the newest concept from the team featuring a sushi bar and seated dining.

    We enjoy the omakase experience. Each time we receive a different line up that makes us delight with new discoveries. The servers are polite and attentive. We felt special with people wishing my daughter a happy birthday. The entire family tells people that they should try this great restaurant.

    Had the best time at this sushi spot not too far from downtown. Shoutout to the sushi chef, servers & hostess for such incredible service.

    Fantastic omakase and delicious. Highly recommend trying the hand rolls and nigiri. Those were the best, and the service is fantastic. Our waitress was on top of it and brought us plates as soon as they were ready.

    My wife and I chose to celebrate our anniversary for lunch at Aiko. It was nice and quiet at this time. The food was delicious and our server was very nice and helpful. The complimentary dessert to help us celebrate our special day was amazing. Thank you Aiko and staff for making our first (of many more to come) visit so enjoyable!

    Aiko never fails to provide great food and service; it’s my go-to for a great experience in this neighborhood. I’ll be back, again and again. Every local I bring goes back with their friends regularly after I introduce them to the pleasures of Aiko.
