   Yes it was Mother's Day, but timing of the meal was *way* off: 2 adult main courses arriving well before the pizza for our teenage daughter. Yes, a manager came by the table to let us know the pizza kitchen was backed up & we weren't forgotten, but no offer of bread or something for the 3rd person at the table to do other than watch their parents eat? Gelato also arrived well after the (premade) deserts and coffee arrived even later. Food was okay, nothing truly as amazing as the prices would have you think. Ambiance is essentially minimal, it's just mostly one large room with faux marble tabletops.

   We have been to this location several times and we normally love it! We unfortunately had a bad experience due to our server. She didn't acknowledge us and went to a table that was seated 10 minutes after we were. She didn't greet us and instead said 'have you been here before?" - we proceeded by ordering. We didn't get water until after an hour of being seated and after being half way done through our meal.

   Food was amazing. Flavorful and cooked with purpose. Our waitress was very attending and excellent. The only critique is we did wait a while for our pasta dishes to come out. By then our toddler had devoured her pizza (she eats very slow). More than likely, we will be returning.

   I mean, this place is a vibe. They have a huge menu and some people liked what they ordered and some of us thought our food was bland. It was definitely all overpriced for what we got. There are far better Italian restaurants. Honestly, I think the marketplace is the best part about going here.

   We have NEVER had a more disappointing meal. Our server was very charming and the bottle of wine, which didn’t arrive until after the appetizer and the salad, was properly chilled.Beyond that, the idea that this pathetic excuse for quality, authentic Italian food can be misrepresented as a positive dining experience is sadly laughable. We came here to luxuriate in the same dishes we LOVED at another Eataly. Big mistake. We will not return.

   We can’t believe how the service could be so bad. We’ve been before but probably won’t go back. They don’t write down your order and so basically there were errors in basically everything we ordered from the first drink to the last dessert. They were working hard but had no idea what the other wait staff was doing. It was a cluster f of service. There were forgotten meals, they canceled the advertised cannoli cart and no more afogados. Sorry but no more us. We will only eat down stairs for now on. It’s too bad. I used to like this place.

    I appreciate how hard the staff worked. The staff was great. This place gets packed. However, the food was disappointing. The pizza was soggy. The broccolini was burned. I was expecting more. When the Maître d' was setting up the table next to mine, she was throwing the chairs around, making a raucous. The following day, I ordered take out from Dai Tai Fung and eat it at the food court. Delicious. There are better options at Valley Fair.
