Using local ingredients with Italian influences, Terra is Eataly’s premium wood-burning grill restaurant located on the third floor of Eataly Silicon Valley. Named for “earth’ in Italian, Terra's menu features the season’s best ingredients cooked simply over open flames. Its food meant to be paired with an inventive botanical cocktail and enjoyed outside on our expansive shaded patio.

We hold the table for a grace period of 15 minutes before offering the reservation to our waitlist.
Parties of 7-10 people are required to make a deposit of $150.00 and parties of 11 or more, email esv-privatedining@eataly.com to secure the date.
There will be a $20 per person charge for no shows or cancellations without 48-hour notice.

Disappointing Experience Our visit was a complete letdown. The service was incredibly poor, and the staff seemed indifferent. To make matters worse, the food lacked any authentic flavor and was truly disappointing. I wouldn't recommend this place.

Outstanding in every way! The food was spectacular! The venue was beautiful. Everything was perfect, and could not have been better. Please don’t change a thing, and keep up the great work! We will be back as often as we can, particularly for special events such as birthdays and Anniversaries. Best regards, Lori Nelson

The carbonara with real ingredients and al dente was perfection! Gelato card is always a crowd pleaser. Definitely, our go to spot when family visit the Bay Area.

Food was brought out cold and old. The octopus appetizer had no taste and was cold. The potatoes were cold and just thrown on a plate and came before the main meal (?). Then the pork shoulder skewers were also cold and tasteless. This is not the first time we’ve been here but it is our last. Too expensive for how bad it was

Our server was lovely but we were a party of four and NONE of our courses came out together except water.

Server put in our entire order at once. Entree’s arrived before our wine and salad. Seared tuna had no flavor or seasoning. They compensated with removing the salad and gave us a free dessert.

Our two guests were served their food while my husband and I waited at least an additional five minutes for our food to arrive. Our guest felt very uncomfortable with eating their food while we waited for them. In addition, the waiter forgot to bring the side dish for our guest and I had to remind them to get it. the steak which our guest ordered was of moderate quality, as there was a great deal of gristle in it.

Service was terrible ! Server was in a rush to get done with us . Did not ask us if we would like drinks ! Told us to order everything in 1 go . We were barely finishing up dinner when she asked if she could bring boxes . Did not bother to show up after to ask if we would like dessert ! Arrogant ! We complained about the salad being sandy and gritty . She said it had to be the dressing . So, instead of actually acting on the complaint that she had already heard of before us, she was defensive did not agree to what we were saying . Poor show Eataly !

Nice outdoor patio and very friendly service. I am Italian so I have expectations and was disappointed at the lack of flavor in the pesto; and the burrata was not very creamy. Also the bread served with this appetizer was rustic but not great. The pastas were good. Better flavor.
