    Do not order the crab salad, hardly any crab, tomatoes were mushy, big slices of cucumber.

    We went there for lunch. The resturaunt has gorgeous view of swimming pool, gulf course, and ocean. They have excellent customer service!! Food was delicious. Salads were fresh but very light on dressing. I would definitely go back .

    Food and drinks were amazing. We were there for hours having a good time. The seller was Tyler. Such an energetic wonderful person. Next time I go back I’m going to ask for him. Blood Orange Margarita was fabulous and the chicken was dah-licious.

    We loved dining outside at View at Vea in a Newport. There is indoor dining also available. The lower seating and less table space outdoors could be a challenge for some, but for us it was a worthy sacrifice to enjoy the air and vista. I will note we ordered a few of the same breakfast items two days in a row and they were a bit different each time, but both times delicious. A few errors were made but the servers were apologetic and very accommodating.

    Worst service and excuses I have seen from an upscale hotel restaurant. Dinner took over one hour from when ordered and was an easy pan seared fish.

    Being that VEA hotel is fairly new, I know to give this place some grace. Our server was very polite, nice and well kept. Some food items were really yummy and some other dishes not so much. I highly recommend the spicy tuna, crunchy rice appetizer. The service was very slow. There were maybe 3 or 4 tables occupied and it seemed like a well scheduled staff except we didn't receive much service. By the time we got our wine, it had been about 30 min. Our party was 4 people. it didn't help that someone in our party wasn't the nicest customer. The vibe seemed more like a restaurant for guests who are staying at the hotel and just wanted to come down to the lobby and grab a bite to eat. Although we were not staying at the hotel, we are locals and wanted to check out the spot in town.

    We had breakfast Ordered the lemon ricotta French toast and eggs Benedict. When the food was delivered both meals were barely warm. We sent the meals back. The second time the eggs Benedict at least warmer than the first time. The French toast was cold. The server was apologetic and she adjusted the tab. On the positive side the food was presented beautifully but did not meet expectations because of the lack of a hot breakfast.

    Excellent food and excellent service. We dined here for Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast and Dinner and all 3 experiences were amazing. The 1st night, we had a big group of 8 people and our server Luis was not only helpful and accomodating but also very patient with us. There was also a few other's who checked in on us. The menu was very limited but it had everything for everyone who have different mood/taste/cravings. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

    Dark restaurant with great views of the ocean and golf course. Menu selection was small but the food was flavorful. Outdoor seating allows for pool side view along with distant ocean views.

    The people and manager were very nice but the food and the kitchen needs a lot of help! valet took 30 minutes and we told them we were there for lunch

    Wow. I don’t right too many reviews online, but this was so specially in egregiously poor, but I felt compelled to my wife and I were looking forward to going to this restaurant, and the service was so bad we left half way through… but an hour into our meal. We were seated for 15 minutes before I asked the host to send somebody over to take our drink orders and bring us water. Somebody came by five minutes later the waiter. It was friendly enough, but couldn’t recommend an appetizer. After another 10 minutes of weeding for our drinks, I asked to speak to the manager. He came over a short if you get the drinks right out. The drinks came another 15 minutes later while we watch the bartenders do dishes and when the drinks showed up, they were wrong! Our appetizer came out, and it wasn’t very good, then non-it tasted stale, and it just wasn’t very exciting. The oysters smelled fishy or replacement drinks still hadn’t come. I sent my wife to go get while I settled up and we left.

    The food was fantastic, the waiter was very attentive, friendly, and overall great service. I didn’t love the set up, and it was really really loud. Kind of my fault because I didn’t realize it was connected to the hotel. Now that I know it’s connected to the hotel, overall great experience. Also good ambiance and view 👍🏼

    Very beautiful restaurant. We were the only table seated for awhile. Service was slow, but we expected that from the reviews. It took quite a while to get our initial cocktail, maybe 20 minutes. The bartender was distracted with employee conversations multiple times. But he when cocktails arrived, they were good. We ordered the bread and butter ($9), it was tasty, although pretty expensive. We moved on to the charcuterie and cheese board ($20) and wings ($18?). It was a nice display, missing any kind of honey, fruit, nuts or jams. Only mustard was included, and a conservative amount of toasted bread. Not sure what type of cheese were served, but we made it work. The amount of wings was larger than expected, very tasty. We ordered a bottle of wine, reasonably priced and enjoyed that also. I think overall it felt like what it is, a hotel restaurant. But with a very nice interior and nice staff.

    My family and I have eaten at the Vea before and had excellent service and food. This evenings issues began when we arrived and asked the hostess if we could sit our table for 4 outside (there were plenty of open tables). She said "let me check your reservation" and never said another word. She instructed someone else to direct us to an inside table without any communication as to why. We asked again but were told the tables were high and the chairs were low...which doesn't exactly explain anything. We chose to stay inside as we didn't want to cause a problem. Our server was pleasant enough but the food arrived and the pork chop was undercooked and lacked flavor. Overall, the experience was poor and I would not recommend the restaurant to anyone.

    I wouldn't call the noise just loud. not energetic. The voices carried. the salads were good, but the main entrees were just ok. the dessert tasted as if it was just defrosted from the freezer. I do not plan on going back.

    It was a little too loud and while the restaurant is overall nice, it does have a hotel feel to it, I think it is because of the ceiling and the noise level. The service was great, food was good as well.

    The whole restaurant's vibe is amazing, love the decor. We were seated in the patio area and it was a beautiful view, however our service was not great. We had better service going to the Edgebar. Food was good, but the server left a bad taste in our mouth.

    Food was amazing! Our server, Jay, was excellent. I wish they had table tops outside so we could enjoy the view. We had to sit inside because only lounge seats outside.

    I’m reviewing this over a month later… so I honestly don’t remember the food… but I DO remember the drinks! The drinks were pretty good! I would recommend going here for a drink if nothing else. Note to these guys.. if someone books on Open Table, give them a good seat other than the one by the “front” The wait was the worst part, I think we waited about 10 minutes… which isn’t bad, but worth noting. The service was great, we got a special little treat since it was our date night, I enjoyed that! Ultimately, I recommend checking this place out… especially if you’re in the area. I don’t recommend going out of your way to go, especially since you done get “View” seating.

    Loved it! Every min of it. Aside from the outdoor lounge furniture that sinks down and makes you sit on the floor. It’s great.
