    Beautiful view of the river and Mt. St. Helens. Tucked into the trees with good that delights and impresses. Such wonderfully kind service and top tier atmosphere.

    Reserved a window table for our anniversary, great view. The food was wonderful and the service was great. Be prepared to shell out some money.

    Awful dinner for Father’s Day. Salad was wilted, watermelon was rancid, soup was cold. Steak overdone and mashed potato dried out. Service was slow.

    This was truly not great. I had taken my wife to The Chart House a few years ago for a birthday and it was ok. Not spectacular, but ok. So, when my daughter came into town for Father’s Day and asked me to chose a restaurant, I thought why not. It’s relatively close to home and could accommodate the 5 of us. The reservation staff was very polite and engaging. We didn’t wait long for our table, and our server was very pleasant. But, things went very downhill as soon as I looked at the menu. It was, predominantly, a “holiday 3 course dinner” menu at $77 dollars a person. No one, especially me who was paying, wanted a $300+ dollar tab and it didn’t seem right to not have the regular menu to chose from as well. So, we got a smattering of appetizers and my wife got the 3 course filet mignon. I had the shrimp cocktail and crab “cake” while my daughter and boyfriend got the meatballs and coconut shrimp. They liked theirs to a degree. Their shrimp was flavorful, but to me the meatballs were bland at best. My shrimp cocktail… not well deveined. I mean really. And this crab cake. A mess! And not a decent portion at all. My wife’s steak.. fine, but really nothing special for the price and her salad and dessert were extremely entry level. My toddler got a cheeseburger and fries, mostly lukewarm at best In the future, I’ll go to Morton’s or Ringside

    Yet another incredible meal at this wonderful restaurant. Celebrating Father’s Day was certainly a hit with the incredible view and Adam as our server. We found a valet to be exceptionally friendly and kind. From start to finish this place set a high standard.

    We had an outstanding experience at the Portland Chart House! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and well cared for. The ambiance is warm and elegant, with breathtaking panoramic views of the Willamette River and city skyline that truly elevate the entire dining experience. Our meals were delicious—beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The seafood was fresh and perfectly cooked, and the steaks were tender and expertly seasoned. Service was top-notch throughout the evening, attentive without being intrusive, and genuinely friendly. It’s clear the team takes pride in providing a memorable experience. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply enjoying a night out, the Portland Chart House delivers on every level. We will definitely be back!
