    My family and I love Handies!!! It’s a great environment with excellent people. They are always so accommodating considering I bring toddlers. Always such a treat to dine here.

    We have been here half a dozen times and we haven’t had a bad bite. The service is quick. The food is fun, delish, and light. The hotate hand roll is a sleeper item and the spicy tuna is perfect. In short: eat everything.

    Excellent sushi in a no frills bar environment. Most of the sushi is hand rolls so don’t come here for exotic selections or presentation. It’s just really good food at a fair price.

    Handies Douzo was a wonderful and unique experience. I love Japanese food and the culture. I have dined at Japanese restaurants all over America, This was something special. The handrolls and sashimi are incredibly fresh and delicious. Taylor and Celine were most helpful in guiding me through the experience. The servers are friendly, and it is a joyful ambience. I will be back

    The fish is always fresh and those hand rolls are to die for. Eat them quick while the nori is crisp! I highly recommend all of the Crudos and the negitoro with some caviar added. Chefs Kiss.

    Handies is one of my favorite sushi bars in Houston. They serve hand roll sushi pieces given one at a time in an almost omakase style. Their selection of fish and rolls is unique and provides variety to anyone who enters. The crudo plates are something to try, I always leave full and satisfied having visited. Must add for your next Houston trip.

    Delicious! Been here a hundred times and it’s always fresh and savory. One of my favs. It’s all good but the tofu is a bit too little for the price. But the sashimi is ultra.
