   Don't ever go the day after Mother's Day. They were literally out of half the things on the menu. This was supposed to be a very special joint birthday and anniversary celebration but turned out not to be so special. The food we did get was sub-par. Filet overcooked, garlic potatoes cold and lumpy, asparagus tasteless plus undercooked shrimp. This was our first time at the restaurant in 25 years.

   I would avoid the Chart House on holidays and special events. This is a seafood restaurant and essentially no fish, lobster, etc was available when we arrived for our reservations at 7PM. It would have been nice to at least receive some sort of notification so we could have cancelled our plans to have Mother's Day dinner at the Chart House in Genessee. Our server was excellednt and it wasn't his fault. The management staff should be absolutely emabarrassed.

   We came from Mother’s Day dinner and we were seated by the time our reservation began. Our server, Bo, was very congenial and attentive. The prix fixe menu was robust and delicious. We also ordered the meatball appetizer and the meatballs were incredibly tender and flavorful. Our steak, lobster and shrimp was cooked perfectly. I was very happy with the Keylime pie being light contrary to how it’s typically dense.

   In a word DISAPPOINTED. Chose it for a nice Mother’s Day but from the wait for our table to weak drinks to them running out of bread to charging us for the appetizer they said would be comped to overcharging us on the special price we had to point out, we won’t be back anytime soon. Hope they learn from all their missteps. Oh and they didn’t ask for our Landry card and the restroom was a mess!

   We just visited for the second time and if I am being honest the food was just meh. Our first trip was amazing so we were quite surprised. I took my Mother and Wife for the Mothers day pre fixe menu. The salads, steaks, mashed potatoes and desert were good by the Sea Bass and Shrimp left much to be desired. Both were overcooked. I guess maybe we stick with non holiday menus. Look forward to coming back but this was not a great dining experience for Mothers Day... except the service. That was wonderful

   I got the grilled halibut but they poured a butter sauce over it and I was trying to go more healthy and didn't expect the butter sauce. Maybe ask the customer if they want the butter sauce? I only ate half of it.

   Very simple. Food/chef - amazing. Service/management - very, very lacking. Just checking in at 7:30 I could tell we were in for a long night. Took 20 minutes to sit us, and I had to talk to multiple people to get it done. We had reservations on a Saturday night in May at 7:30 (and there weren't that many people there when we got there to begin with), and they were already out of lamb chops, oysters, and Mahi. I ordered oysters for an appetizer, but I didn't find out they were out until 30 minutes after the order was placed. This was is not the waiter's fault, it is management who did not let him know. Same thing with the entrees and drinks. We ordered drinks and it took 20-30 minutes to get our drinks, and they were actually not correct anyways. We did not reorder in fear it would take another 30 minutes to get it right. At 7:30 on a Saturday, they are already out of several of their main specials. ???? I had to downgrade to my 3rd choice, as my top two were no longer available - with a 7:30 reservation!?!? Once we got what we ordered, it was amazing. No regrets, as the end result from a food standpoint was awesome. But, there were multiple issues throughout the dinner from a service/management standpoint that would not measure up to what most people would expect, especially for what you're paying for. Management is responsible for this. As we drove by the following Sunday morning, I was hoping they were having Sunday school to figure this out, because the food is incredible. If the service/management side of things can be fixed, I would absolutely highly recommend. If not, I would be be very wary.

   Great food and ambience. Reservations were 20 minutes behind and then we sat for another 15+ minutes before anyone acknowledged us, then it was another 10 minutes before we got water. I don't know if they were short-staffed, but the service needs a huge improvement!

    Arrived 15 minutes early for 6:15 reservation. Was told there were no tables available and would have to sit in the lounge. We asked if we waited until 6:15 could we get a table in dining room. We’re told no, the restaurant was overbooked. Don’t understand why we don’t have a table available in dining room when we had a reservation. This is not the first time this has happened to us. Lounge dining is quite different experience from main dining room. Unacceptable and will think twice about returning. Ordered fish for entree and was informed they were out of fish. At 6:15 ? Rest of dining experience was so so and overpriced for quality of food and price.
