I recently dined at Nick's on State Street, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience! The food was absolutely excellent, and every bite was a delight. What truly stood out, though, was the incredible service. From the busboy to the manager, the staff made us feel like VIPs! We were greeted by name and treated with such warmth and care—it truly made our visit special. They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. And I can't forget to mention the butter cake—it was simply over the top! It’s no wonder that this has become my running group’s favorite spot to celebrate birthdays. If you're looking for a fantastic meal and top-notch service, Nick's is the place to be!

Nick’s has become one of my favorites! Every dish is consistently great, the salmon is spectacular! Amazing service by server Caitlyn.. truly just an all around terrific experience! Can’t wait to come back!

Nick’s continues to amaze us with their excellent menu choices and the quality of their food. The Crisp Martini was a very pleasant surprise. I can’t forget the service. Everyone was helpful, friendly and efficient.

Another amazing meal at Nick’s! Our server was great. The drinks, apps, dinner and dessert were all amazing. Beautifully presented. I recommend sitting outside.

Tried the California salad - my new favorite at Nick’s. Rib Eye Sandwich always a winner. Blackened Fish Sandwich excellent. Must order Asparagus fries. Chilean Sea Bass was fabulous.

This place was pretty cool! Pretty small without a waiting area. Bar was busy and pretty. Good looked amazing all around. We ordered the filet mignon and the meatloaf. The filet had too much char and not enough seasoning. Was not the best I’ve had and in fact could not finish it. So many of their other dishes looked amazing though. My husband said his meatloaf was the best he’s ever had so that’s saying something. Their butter cake dessert was amazing as well. Will definitely return and will order something different.

We were seated right away w our 4:30 reservations. Our server, Kolby, greeted us and noted it was an anniversary dinner! (Thank you for yummy chocolate cake dessert). My husband had center cute steak cooked to perfection. I had "melt in your mouth" sea bass. We had a very enjoyable anniversary dinner!

Had lunch here with a friend. Courteous and attentive staff, comfortable outdoor patio seating and a menu with a good variety of choices. Friend had the spicy Thai salad, and I had the Bistro Plate with a petite filet mignon, small green salad and cup of creamy and well seasoned corn chowder. We were both very happy with our choices. Very relaxed, pleasant experience overall. Only negative is limited parking so allow extra time to find a space if you have reservations.
