Went here with my family for my birthday. Sullivan’s is already my favorite restaurant, but the food was amazing, the service was great, and overall I don’t really have any complaints! I come here for nearly every special occasion because it’s so good!

We had a great server who was attentive to our needs. The calamari and salad were perfect. My husband and I both ordered the ribeye. It was ok but the meat seemed liked it was not prime quality. Not very tender and not much flavor to it. For dessert, we had cheesecake and bananas foster pudding. Both were ok but again, didn’t blow us away. It was still a very good dinner. Would have been a 5-star if the steaks were better quality.

It was okay…. Came for my husband’s birthday (on the day Weds night). Place was bustling when we arrived but cleared out by the time we left. There was nothing remarkable about the experience - may be a quiet, happy birthday by the server. Thankfully our friends made up for the lack of enthusiasm provided by the venue. Our friends had ordered drinks at the bar and had gotten a spicy margarita that was lit on fire so I ordered the same one at the table and it was lackluster. Apparently sitting at the bar gets you some incredible service! The other drinks did look more exciting with fancy copper glasses. Table service was good except at the end we were left with a $1000 bill to figure out how to divide amongst 8 people (4 parties) and no server in sight when it was requested ahead to split the bill. I get the 20% auto grat and that’s fine but you can still split the check for us. Birthday boy said he has no desire to go back. Steak (filet) was very tender and good. Food was very good.

We were really excited to try Sullivan’s here in Indy versus the one in California. And to also compare to other steakhouses locally. Atmosphere was great, our server was exceptional, however our food was just ok. My husband 12oz filet, mid rare was ok. Wasn’t butter knife mid-rare good. My Chilean sea bass was not good what so ever, I was expecting to be wowed. And I was not. It does not rival Tony’s at all. A little under cooked, and needed a little more char. Last but not least was the Au gratin potatoes, it was missing something. P.S. lemon drop and oyster Rockefeller were the stars of our experience. - best friend said that I should give another chance.

We were there for our anniversary and server was amazing and even took down every note and asked all the right questions as far as temps for the steaks. Kitchen screwed up and our steaks came out very wrong temps. I ordered medium plus and my filet came out well done (shame for a flier) and my husband had a ribeye ordered medium came out rare. We had the manager guest what temps we ordered based on what he saw and he even confirmed they were way off. Please know though our server was impeccable and kind and always on point so this doesn’t reflect on her at all. Still plan on coming back as we still enjoyed our food.

There are not enough words to say how disappointing this experience was. We had been waiting all week to celebrate my FIL’s 70th birthday. My husband and I had worked in the service industry for the first half of our lives; we really try to take all of the factors into consideration so I hesitate to blame the server completely but she definitely was not on her ‘A’ game. It was pretty apparent it wasn’t even worth complaining to her or the management honestly. It wouldn’t have helped, I didn’t trust the potential behind the scenes pettiness, and I didn’t want them to think we were looking for some discount and thus have a reason disregard our complaints. Sometimes you just have to sit there and let the sh*t show play out but it would have been nice to have a cocktail in hand while it was occurring. You never know what is going on in a person’s life, but we did not receive the service one would expect considering the prices. Everything started off odd, our server greeted us but didn’t walk through the menu, didn’t advise of specials…when we asked for a few minutes to look over the menu- she disappeared for over 30 min- came back and was annoyed we didn’t want starters? We hadn’t even had our drink order taken yet. Took another 20 minutes to get our first round of drinks but she forgot our martinis, then another 10 to order. We were never offered any refills after that point but there was a team walking around with water so that helped. Every single course had an error in it. We were a party of 6, three of the soups/salads came 20 minutes before the other 3. My MIL’s food was completely wrong- thanks for that extra awkward touch 🙄 There was no excuse for how we were treated; it was such a weird experience we basically kept quiet most of dinner. If Sullivan’s has the audacity to post Ruth Chris/St. Elmo prices I absolutely expect that level of service. For a 70th birthday even? We were so exhausted by the experience we didn’t even stay for dessert. Shameful. Period.

We went on Valentine’s Day our reservation was for 8pm we didn’t get seated until around 8:15 -8:20pm .The apps didn’t take long to come out! Our meals took a little while but our server gave us another app on the house so that was really nice she was super sweet and interactive I highly recommend this place everything was wonderful 10/10 for food I only listed 4 stars because of the wait on our dinner it took so long to come out!

It was Valentines Day, so I understand there will be some challenges; however our reservation was bumped 25 minutes and a very congested lobby wasn’t fun; we waited an hour for our entrees and no one was refilling waters on the floor… our sides came out cold and a 20 minute wait on cocktails and the hostess was shouting table reservations out, instead of simply walking the lobby and calmly ask or announce a reservation was available - it was wildly inappropriate Steaks were great tho

I understand that for Valentine’s Day (or valentines week) things are very busy. You were over booked, so even though we had a reservation, we had to wait 20+ minutes. We did go into the bar and get a drink. They told us it would be a 10 minute wait… Had we known that it would be longer… Really actually closer to a half an hour… We may have gotten an appetizer. But we were also planning on doing the valentine package, so I’m not sure how Getting an appetizer as a part of the three course event would have worked. When we have a reservation, we do not usually have to wait. Certainly we don’t need to wait very long. Our waitress was overextended, so a couple smaller mistakes were made.

The restaurant staff were excellent and the ambiance was super great, especially when they dimmed the lights! My wife thought the music was too loud but I didn’t notice myself. The food was great except for my wife’s steak being a bit more charred than she liked. Definitely would recommend! Also they were extremely accommodating for our 6 year anniversary, put petals out on our table and gave us a super sweet dessert with “happy anniversary “ written in chocolate. That was super sweet and I’m very pleased

Our lunch experience was far less enjoyable than the times we have eaten dinner there. No bread, couldn’t get a baked potato, mashed potato’s only which were very dry. Steaks were EXTREMELY salty, to the point you couldn’t drink water quick enough. The lobster & shrimp bisque was excellent as usual and the service was excellent as well. Our dinner was amazing! We were celebrating our 11th year anniversary and Sullivan's went above and beyond to personalize the night for us! We were greeted with Happy Anniversary and our table was decorated so romantically. Our server took a picture for us and gave us keepsakes of our night! Even our desserts read Happy Anniversary on them, so cute. The food and service were outstanding! We will definitely be back real soon!

Slow on drinks. Bar was backed up. Soup was cold and not much taste (bisque), calamari was also cold and was in some sauce that was full of sugar. Steak was just ok but not great flavor for a ribeye. Overall it’s the price of St Elmo’s or Ruth’s Chris and it just doesn’t compare to those locations when it comes to the quality of service, food, and overall experience.

My boyfriend and I went Valentine’s Day weekend and it was very busy. Our reservation was at 5:15, we got seated around 5: 35. I ordered my wagyu medium well and it was more well done, it was also kind of burnt on the end. Everything else great, the staff did their best with the influx of patrons and the inside is very nice. Overall I love this restaurant but I think with it being a busy holiday, some details were missed. 4/5 for this time going.

Started off with the best dish of the night—Beef Wellington Bites! They were EXCELLENT! The Lobster Bisque was very delicious! Wife had Rack of Lamb chops - just ok nothing special. I tried their American version of Waygu. It was rough to cut but quite pleasant to eat. As for the sides, I was disappointed in the three Mac & cheese. Just didn’t have that taste that stands out & macaroni was kinda tasteless.
