    My experience at this restaurant was average. The food was decent but nothing exceptional or noteworthy. Our waiter was helpful, though it seemed multitasking or prioritizing might not be her strongest suit. Mateo, the young staff member I believe was his name, was very welcoming, efficient, and friendly. Overall, the food wasn’t bad, but it didn’t leave a strong impression.

    The Octopus was quite good. Carbonara was excellent and the salad was very good. Open Table asks if you are celebrating anything special which I indicated it was a birthday but no one at the restaurant acknowledged it. Ambience is great but the music was a little loud. Service was good.

    It was my first time at Allegro and while everything was ok, there wasn't anything particularly memorable about it. The food was relatively average and prices, for what it was, were on the high side. With a good amount of restaurants in and around Little Italy, I wouldn't necessarily look to come back.

    Wouldn’t recommend to go right they open. I think that was out own mistake. Our server was A+ and the menu looked good. The food was ok. I would recommend the chef’s special. They told it was for two people, but honestly the portions were big enough for 3-4 adults depending on how hungry +/- apps and salads etc. The pasta from the chef’s special was actually better leftover since the parm melted better that way. The patio is so adorable with the citrus fruit trees overhead. We didn’t go inside so I cannot comment on that, but my guess is it’s just as lovely. The food was not as good as I expected, and by the time we left it was so loud we couldn’t talk so I don’t think I would go back, but the location is great right in little Italy with street parking nearby and such a walkable neighborhood. I would say nice for a date night. You go for the experience and not the food here. Just my two cents.

    Food and service were excellent. I love the menu. There are some unique takes on classic Italian dishes.

    The service was not great and the food was just okay for the price. We asked for bread and were told we could buy it, then saw other tables getting it. Will not go back.

    The calamari obviously had been frozen before and was very chewy. It was thin rings. And the dipping sauces were bland. Squash blossoms were average, again the sauce was bland. Ciabatta bread basket was stale. The staff was very very nice.

    First, we were unable to have dinner here on Saturday night. After being seated, we waited for more than 40 minutes without any attention from the server. The server chose to take orders from two parties who arrived after us, which felt frustrating. While waiting, we even purchased the photo the restaurant took of us, trying to make the best of the situation. We were patient at first, but the staff seemed to deliberately avoid making eye contact with us. After waiting for nearly an hour without being able to place an order or even to get drinks, we decided to leave since we couldn't waste our time any more. I am not sure because we were Asians and they were being racist, but our party felt very disrespected.

    Bebe gave amazing service! It was our first time here and we will definitely be back. The food was delicious and the indoor was beautiful!
