Great place for couples dinner. We spent our anniversary dinner with Roy beautiful sunset at the 18th hole.

Calamari was super great along with all the other foods we ordered except for the fried chicken. It was too salty to eat. The staff kindly did not charge for that…but was disappointed as I was looking forward to a chicken that outdid ( or was at least as good as chef Tyler Florence’s version at Wayfare Tavern. Service was good. Bartender poured wonderful drinks.

We had a lovely dinner at Roy’s! Probably our best dinner in Maui! Delicious entree and drinks.

This is our “go to” place every year we come. The food is amazing, the service is fantastic, the only thing missing is the ocean view. But you get that everywhere else. Also, there is always reservation availability. the kids menu is also great. They get three course meal for very cheap. Highly recommend checking it out. Aloha.

I'm still missing the old location in the shopping mall from 2 decades ago. The "new" place lacks intimacy. Maybe don't use all the square footage, walling off a section, and pushing the existing tables closer together. Also the huge 8x11.5 paper Push /Pull signs on the front door also really cheapens the place. Wish we had been greeted by a host with a hearty 'welcome in,' but it actually took about 2 minutes to get anyone to pay us attention. The salad that was ordered without onions and which was delivered to the table with the deliverer announcing 'salad without onions' - definitely had a bunch of onions on it. We didn't say anything and just removed the onions. But more attention to these details would help. That said, our water glasses were kept full and our snapper was delicious. It's not like we won't be back, but you're no longer one of our 'have to have dinner at' places and haven't been for a decade. Currently dining with you one every few visits will be just fine. You can do better.

Hibachi grilled salmon was very good. Wished restaurant was closer to other shops and galleries as the prior location.

Always a great dining experience at Roy's. The last time we were at Roy's on Maui must have been 15 years ago and in another location from this most recent visit. The entire experience from the front desk to the person who seated us to our wait people to the food prep and presentation, dining room, open kitchen, all of it.......always top notch. Never disappointed.

Service was so-so but the food was great! Welcoming and pleasant, but not efficient (drinks took 10-15 minutes). We ordered the rib appetizer which was awesome as usual but waited much longer than expected. If you want an appetizer, order way before your meal as other items will be delivered prior to the appetizer. I thought the setting was nice, most tables have a beautiful view of the golf course - no sunset due to the surrounding hotels blocking but the sky was pretty once they opened the shades.
