Taqueria Mal Pan is a modern Mexican experience. Our chef-driven menu is a combination of both the modern and classic Mexican kitchen. You’ll experience a menu with inspiration from Baja to Yucatan and everywhere in between. In step with the theme of our kitchen, the beverage program at Mal Pan is also inspired by the old and the new. Our back bar is filled with a curated list of artisan spirits from the US, Mexico, the Caribbean and beyond. All of our craft cocktails are concocted with housemade syrups, fresh squeezed juices, shrubs, bitters and instagram worthy garnishes

    Food was good, service was good, but value (price for food served) was not great. I love good MX food and worked occasionally in MX for a number of years, so am familiar w. the dishes served in MX and the Americanized versions served locally. The wait staff was courteous and very prompt and the food quality was good, but the prices were very high vs other MX restaurants in the area. Also, the chairs at the tables on the porch were very uncomfortable.

    Literally everything is SO good. Azteca enchiladas, chocolate chili creme brûlée, pasole, California burrito..I've been here a few times and everything is AMAZING and they have some great GF options too.

    Blueberry blue corn pancakes on the weekend brunch menu were very good and something a little different. The breakfast tacos, adding the steak were OUTSTANDING! I also had the Queso Fundido with chorizo & mushrooms. Great starter.
