   The restaurant has a great selection of German beers (the Austrian and Polish selection is rather poor) but the food leaves a great deal to be desired. It's a strange, not really authentic mix of German and Eastern European cuisine. For American standards it's an OK place but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who wants to try some authentic food from German-speaking countries.

   Having grown up in Germany I really miss German food and beer gardens. Bronwen at least gives me a sense of being back there. The food is good and I love the gurken salat and Brezen. Miss, miss, miss real german biergartens.

   Great German food with a twist, Currywurst anyone? Had the Spatzel and bratwurst sausage, delicious. So good I had to have more. Started with a Bretzel with horseradish mustard, wonderful. Anyway thanks Bronwyn for a great dining experience. Did I mention the 32 German beers available?

   We stopped here before heading into Boston for music...I was craving German comfort food and Bronwyn delivered!! It’s a lot tight, but they created a traditional German beer house interior...the noise level is high because the spot is so small and was a little difficult getting in and settled, but once we did it was fantastic! The bread dumplings were perfect and the beer selection was spot on!

   Delightful Sunday brunch! Loved every bite - as did my kids, who dove into some familiar options and explored new tastes on the Bronwyn menu. Will come back to try their expansive beer list and enjoy dinner fare.

    My boyfriend and I had dinner here recently and we were so happy!!! The food from the appetizer to the dessert was excellent! I don’t think I’ve had a dinner that’s excellent from start to finish! Usually, something may be just ok. But I can honestly say this place is top notch!!! The decor had an old world but modern feel. The lighting reminded me of places in Zurich or Munich! We had the Dine Out menu which is definitely a must-try! You still have time! Our main dish was a shared pork shank of generous proportions that was so tender and just divine! Everything on the plate from the pork to the sour kraut and potatoes, plus slices of apple was just scream-out-loud excellent!!! Service was stellar! Ambience was very nice! So happy we found Bronwyn!!!

    Found it to be very pricey for the amount of food. Was looking for an authentic German experience and did not find it here. Not enough German beer options and was disappointed overall. Glad I tried it though.

    I find the food quality inconsistent. Seems it is highly dependent on who is in the kitchen, I have had the same dishes a few times and find them varying in quality quite a bit.

    The beer was superb as always. The waitress was very helpful with recommendations. We ordered the meat platter for 2. I’ve had this many times and am reminded again just how fatty beef shank is and why I should order something else. Most of the other entrees have dairy tho. And as always, i remind myself that i should just have beer and a snack at the bar and dinner somewhere else.

    This was the perfect spot for a friend's brunch on a Sunday afternoon. Wasn't too busy, we were able to easily book a reservation for a table. The food is delicious and on a lazy Sunday, having a few cocktails with our meal was the perfect added touch!

    Very cool place where the comfort is unique and cozy. The pretzels and perogies were OUTSTANDING. Spetzel was very good as well. The crowd was eclectic, the vibe was relaxed and fun. Definitely worth the experience- we will be going back!

    My husband and I went there on a week night just because we love schnitzel and wanted to try the place. Our waiter was exceptional, the ambiance really nice and cozy, but the food was disappointing especially if you've had authentic schnitzel in the past. Unfortunately, both my husband and I had, having lived in Germany for a while, and also having had an excellent German restaurant near our old place in IL. The cut was very small and not thin enough, and it gave you the impression that it was deep-fried. The spaetzle were way too greasy and almost lost in the cheese and butter. The potato salad and pretzel were ok, but they were not what we went to the restaurant for. Finally, the drinks and beer menu were way over priced ( $11 for a glass of gluewein(!), $11 for Koelsch Frueh which is normally at half price even when it's imported). We really wanted to like this place, but we are not going back.

    We loved the ambiance and food at Bronwyn! It was festively decorated for the holiday season and the music playlist was spot on. We ordered the charcuterie plate, Schnitzel and Knodel. All were fantastic!

    Bronwyn is not just one of the best German restaurants in the Boston area, it's one of the best German restaurants in the U.S. Our meal was spectacular as always. Slightly pricey but worth it for a special occasion.

    Everything about Bronwyn was excellent. Having lived in Germany, the cuisine was on-point and it transported me back to Bavaria. Also, the waitstaff was remarkably friendly and the service was exceptional. We'll be back.

    Bronwyn is one of our favorites. The ambience is great, the menu enticing and the service is very attentive. The beer options range from a lite lager to a hearty dark - and many options in between. We had the potato salad and the spaetzle to start - both excellent. My wife had the spaetzle as her main course and I had the sauerbraten. While the sauerbraten was excellent, her spaetzle was a little undercooked and swimming in butter. Regardless, Bronwyn is an excellent place to return to over and over!

    Amazing service from the moment I walked in. The hostess was very nice and recommended we eat in the front area near the bar because it was quieter. The waiter was extremely nice, gave great suggestions and also was attentive. Food was outstanding! I had Schnitzle and it was amazing. Highly recommend eating here.

    I love this place, my mom is from Munich so coming here when I’m in town is a taste of her homeland and change from my usual go tos. The details from the menu to the decor and beer offerings are perfect for family meals or dates. I definitely urge everyone that likes good beer or cocktails paired with hearty food to drop in. Parking is tight but a loop around the block usually allows for street parking or a spot in the small lot to open up.

    The waitress was great and the food was very good also. My mother did no complain about the German food not being German. This is the first time , she always criticizes that it doesn't taste like being home. ( Heidelberg Germany. )

    Bronwyn looks like an authentic German pub with plenty of beer on tap and efficient wait staff . The downside is the food which is average at best . Great place for millennials .

    Bronwyn was everything as advertised, I've been to Germany on business and this was just like being there, except with better service and quality. Not a clunker on the menu, which was nice and compact, and the beer selection was excellent. Cant wait to go back.

    We had a wonderful meal at Bronwyn! From start to finish, the host and servers were very friendly and accommodating. Everyone in our party loved the German food, and the great beer selection was fun! The atmosphere is wonderful, both inside and outside on the magical courtyard.
