The best part of our evening were the wonderful wait staff and hosts. Every person we encountered had a huge welcoming smile and gave us good recommendations. The roast chicken dinner for two was amazing, and our Willamette Valley Pinot Noir could not have been better. Will be back!

Super Delicious!! I met a girlfriend for dinner & we were very impressed with Josephine. It’s been a while since we last dined there. I highly recommend the heirloom tomato salad & duck breast entree. Kelly, our server, was also fantastic. Can’t wait to go back!!

We arrived for brunch at Josephine and were greeted pleasantly and seated immediately per our reservation. Staff was very helpful, attentive, and provided great suggestions for their favorite menu items. The food was beautifully presented and delicious!

Delicious. I had the crab cake sandwich and it was one of the very best crabcake sandwiches I’ve ever had. The waitress was extremely kind and had a great customer service. I would recommend this place. I give it a 10 out of 10.

On my recent trip to Nashville with friends I found this restaurant and it went with our theme of visiting an eponymous location for each person and we were NOT disappointed. Our friends talked about how amazing the food was all weekend. Wish we lived closer as we would visit often. We ate some much and enjoyed every bite! Every aspect of the meal was perfect, apps, cocktails, food. This is a MUST visit for foodies.

The food was outstanding as always. The duck has brown with sausage gravy one the day. Huge fan of the eggs Benedict my only better if would be to eliminate the ham as it makes it a bit salty. My only complaint was the cost of my Bloody Mary. I ordered a Bloody Mary but substituted the vodka for Don Fulano tequila so a Bloody Marie. I was charged $25 which in my view was very excessive especially given the size and normal accoutrements. Love the brunch but just will avoid ordering a special drink.

Things started off fine, but quickly went downhill due to the server and food quality of main entree. The chef prefers everything ordered at once, which is okay as long as the server doesn’t dump all the food on the table at once. Unfortunately, the salad and mains arrived all at once. Server stated it was a misunderstanding, but she clearly forgot to enter the order the salad. Prime ribeye was tough and chewy, not to mention covered in garlic butter. I question the quality of the beef.

On Sat. Sept. 30th 5 of us went to Josephine for brunch. We luckily found parking in the lot behind the restaurant designated for Josephine. We were seated immediately as we had a reservation. Drink orders were taken and received but sadly were told they had no cocktail napkins so our drinks made a wet mess on the table and dripped on our clothes as we drank. The menu touting "the best hamburger in Nashville" 4 ordered it and were happy with their meal. I ordered the eggs Benedict which I found different than others I have had but unique and delicious. As the restaurant filled the noise level grew but our experience overall was excellent sans drippy beverage glasses.

My friends and I were celebrating a birthday and everyone at Josephine made it magical. I waitress, Kelly was the absolute best!!!! Thank you for the 5 star treatment and excellent food! Truly world class and uniquely Nashville.

This was our second time at Josephine and it did not dissapoint. We got the pork sliders and the cornbread for appetizers and both were amazing. We got the salmon, steak and corn ravioli - all were delish and our server was so fun and great. Thank you Josephine!

We enjoyed selections from the cocktail menu including nonalcoholic options. We also liked the cheese plate and crispy hash browns with the delicious dipping sauce. The gnocchi was excellent as well as the ravioli and pork chops. The highlight of the evening was the dessert. A magically deconstructed s’more it finished the evening in a spectacular way and we left fully satisfied. The service was very professional and she provided interesting background on chef and menu selections and contributed to an overall enjoyable experience.

Great spot with excellent food and drink choices on 12th. Definitely recommend. Enjoyed cocktails but overpriced at $19 a cocktail. Overall great option despite being pretty expensive.

Hold on - did I visit heaven? The Pennsylvania Dutch Pork Belly Buns!!! I wish I had ordered more. Those were some of the best bites of food of my life. And then… the sweet corn ravioli with smoked pork!!! More uniquely amazing and delicious bites!! Josephine is always wonderful. The staff is always incredible. Mmmmmmm

Wonderful dining experience. Our table shared the cornbread starter and enjoyed all our meals-burger (from happy hour menu) crab cakes and sweet corn ravioli. Appreciate the Happy Hour specials from 5-7pm on the weekend. Server was attentive and engaging. Everything was top notch. We will be back.

Our waitress was great. I thought the hostess felt unwelcoming. I’ve had these reservations for a while when we were going to be seated we saw a few empty booths asked if we get get a booth and their response was no those were reserved for others. Thought that’s weird. Let me add that the food is excellent, we’ll be back, hopefully the welcome crew will be a little more pleasant next time around!

We were so excited to finally make it to Josephine. We were sat in a large booth which was a nice private-feeling spot. As the meal progressed boy did it get hot and stuffy in the booth. It didn't seem to have good ventilation nor direct ac to get things comfy. It def affected our enjoyment and comfort being a late July eve. The food was really good. Their copper plate served chicken was really dry and hard to break into bite size (rather than fall off the bone tender). Our server was terrific and knew the menu and wines to help us decide for our first visit. We will go back, but I'm not going to rush it.

The food was a perfect blend of interesting and new foods/flavors and familiar ingredients. Highly recommend the lettuce wraps with scrapple as an appetizer. Our server was awesome, knowledgeable and kind. And the vibe was open and kind without being stuffy. We will definitely come back!

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Josephine. What a great spot in a cute area of Nashville! We had made a reservation so a table was waiting for us but we opted to sit at the bar. Excellent service and nice conversation with one of the bartenders. If we return to Nashville we will definitely return to Josephine for dinner.
