The food was less than average for such a nice atmosphere. I had eater here before and it was fine but this time was very disappointing. My steak came with over done French fries and it was a birthday and they did nothing special but asked when making the reservation.

It’s always a pleasure to sit outside during the summertime. They have switched around the seating with many more outside tables and a bar area. The menu has changed too. Kept a few of the old offerings but added many new ones. We had burgers with truffle fries and pancetta pasta. Everyone was happy with their meal. They also added my favorite red blend Harvey and Harriet.

The portions are small and a bit pricey. The menu is a bit limited also. Overall the place is cute and the service is good with fresh food.

We got a beautiful booth right near where the jazz band was playing. It was so wonderful. The food was excellent, the service was great and the ambience gets 10/10 rating. What a magical evening we had.

We always enjoy our dinner and the service. It might be slightly overpriced, but it is a good time and we always leave satisfied with our meal and the service.

Happy Hour “snacks” of lamb meatballs and garlic shrimp were excellent. Accompanying bread for both could have been fresher. Drinks were good for the happy hour price. All in all, a bargain for Happy Hour All-Day Tuesday.

We go to the Black Rail often. On this visit we were informed that their Happy Hour has been discontinued, which was a disappointment. But the food, which is typically very good, also disappointed in that the skirt steak was very tough. However, the biggest disappointment was when we received the bill. $38 for 2 martinis. Granted it was a premium vodka but that is just too much to charge for drinks. That last item will keep us from going back very often.

The hostess was great and worked hard to make sure our guest, who had noise issues and Garlic food allergies was taken care of. She gave us several seating suggestions and worked with us the whole time until we found the best place for our friend. The food was very good, just a bit salty. The Noise level, even without the jazz music was very - very loud.
