Bargello®, located in the Hotel Arras, is named after the 17th century Florentine needlepoint style. The intricacy of this stitch embodies the restaurant weaving together their love for community, cuisine, and hospitality to create the ultimate casual fine dining experience.

Bargello's culinary team draws their inspiration from the flavors you experience when traveling along the Mediterranean coastline. Seasonal and locally sourced dishes include fresh hand-rolled pastas, house-made breads, and innovative cuisine from Executive Chef Tyler Slade. Bargello’s menu changes often to reflect the local produce available in Western North Carolina.

Complementary valet parking is available exclusively for Bargello during dinner service from Wednesday to Sunday, between 5:00 PM and 10:00 PM. A reservation is required, and the valet service is limited to a maximum of three hours. This offer is not valid on holidays, special events, or private events.

Very nice being outside on a beautiful evening. We had the charcuterie which was incredibly overpriced and visually unappealing. Food thrown on a plate . We were rarely checked on. Unfortunately an ok experience, However a lovely evening outdoors.

Beautiful space and our waiter was great about pacing things out for us but the salmon was overcooked and dry, the broccolini was undercooked and hard, and overall the price does not match what you receive.

This was our first meal after driving almost 8 hours to Asheville. We were particularly excited for a big charcuterie plate. Was a little disappointed by the variety of cheeses, the pickled vegetables were good and so were the figs. But not enough bread or crackers. For mains we had the ragu and the white pizza. Both were mid. We got full quickly but didn’t really enjoy the meals that much. Ambiance is great. But keep in mind there are families with lots of kids dining at 7:30.

We always have a great meal at Bargello but they managed to take it to the next level for us since we were celebrating two birthdays. Our hostess, Elsa, always looks out for us and our waitress, Tiffany, was superb. Most importantly, the food is fresh, generous and delicious. In a town full of fantastic restaurants, Bargello is one of the best!

We attended the recent 5 course tasting menu paired with Far Niente wines. Overall, we were thrilled with our meal and the wines. The Chef created original and very tasty dishes with our favorite being the starter of Seafod Scapece. Comprised of lobster and shrimp with gazpacho, compressed melon, honey caviar and blood orange, it was absolutely delicious! Equally delicious was the ravioli made with mushrooms, parmesan cream, herbs and lemon. Yumm! Credit also goes to the Far Niente wines also which were compelling and delicious. All in all, this was a very fun evening and we hope Bargello will continue to do the special event dinners.

The servers were very nice and attentive. Kitchen staff created an amazing meal that was one of the best I have had. Everyone I encountered was so nice and helpful. Will come again.

Good food, it is in the lobby of a hotel so has that vibe. The menu was smaller when we arrived than was on the website.

The lobster riosotto was the best I've had, atop la pool of lobster bisque. But the 3% charge for using a credit card will probably keep me from going back.
