Cork & Gabel, a restaurant fusion of Irish, Italian, and German cuisine, opened in 2018 in Detroit's Corktown district. We are known for our use of modern techniques on old school classics. European comfort food is a staple at Cork & Gabel. We pride ourselves on being a scratch kitchen, sourcing and using Michigan vendors including farmers and small business. Fresh is key when it comes to providing a great experience and we make everything we can fresh and in house.

We had a great brunch on Sunday! Everyone enjoyed the food and service. Looking forward to our next reservation. We’ve never had a bad experience at Cork & Gabel!

We went for brunch and everything was good. Portions were large so easy to split a meal. The bloody mary's were huge!

I enjoyed the location and ambience very much. I wish I had known there was as parking adjacent to the restaurant but there was plenty of street parking available The portions were huge so if you are a light eater think about sharing with others at the table so food isn’t wasted. The staff was attentive and friendly. I recommend.

We went to Cork & Gabel for my daughter’s graduation brunch, and the entire experience was fantastic! From start to finish, the service was excellent—our waiter Dan truly went above and beyond. He was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect. A big shoutout to the cooks and attendees as well—the food was delicious and beautifully prepared. I would highly recommend Cork & Gabel to anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience. Again, Dan is the man—absolutely outstanding service!

Everything was great, except one entree, which was corned beef, tasted badly like fish. Not sure how they accomplished that.

Server could have been a little bit more attentive. It seemed like he was just trying to get side work done. And I understand cause I’m a server too. So it’s not an issue for me. But yea.
