Located on Charleston's Upper King Street, Indaco (Italian for "indigo") serves rustic Italian cuisine. Wood-fired pizzas, hand-crafted pastas, housemade salami and cured sausages fill the restaurant's menu which can be enjoyed family-style or a la carte. Led by Indaco’s Elton Morris, join us for a pasta making class! Hosted on our covered outdoor patio, enjoy a fun and educational hands-on pasta class, followed by a family-style brunch with your classmates. We’ll dive into the “how-to” of our signature ‘Black Pepper Tagliatelle’ and you will create your own fresh pasta to take home. We will also provide all of the ingredients (and recipe!) to re-create our tagliatelle dish in the comfort of your own home. Spots are limited; tickets are $100 per person (inclusive of tax and gratuity). Complimentary mimosa included; additional beverages will be available for purchase. Please let us know about any dietary restrictions and allergies in advance. Class starts at 10:00 A.M., don’t be tardy!

The food was delicious. However, I ordered the eggs cooked in tomato, and the eggs were completely raw. I look a runny yolk, but can’t deal with runny whites. When I sent it back, the passive aggressive cook sent it back with the eggs cooked to the consistency of golf balls. Everything else was excellent.

My husband and I love Indaco brunch, and hadn’t been in a few months. I always get the same dish, the Eggs in Purgatory. I was craving the meatballs appetizer, and next thing I knew, complimentary meatballs were sent out! They were delicious as always, and of course I indulged in a peach mimosa. Our server, Courtney, was helpful, cheerful and efficient. We were also warmly greeted by both of the waitresses named Kaitlin. Indaco always provides stellar food and service, and consistently remembers us as locals. That’s not the easiest task in this tourist town!

There are many great restaurants in Charleston, but honestly, this is one of the best overall dining experiences we had. From the Puglian Primitivo we started with, to warm olives as an appetizer, to the Spicy Sopressata pizza, this was outstanding (and we're from Chicago: we know pizza!). This was just a great, great find.

I have celiac and had the most wonderful meal. GF pizza crust made into bread strips, olives, and GF pasta with peas and mushrooms. Gelato snd sorbet for dessert. My husband loved his regular meal as well. Thanks!

Great food, service was fantastic, and loved the atmosphere. Only downside is that the hallway to bathroom is narrow and goes by the kitchen, which made waiting for a vacant bathroom awkward. Other than that, no complaints!

Dinner started off nice except an influx of bugs ruined the meal. Was not offered to move tables. Only got to order appetizers and ate 1 of the 2 due to the bugs that came in. We were checking every piece before eating for bugs. Decided to box what we had not even attempted to eat and leave. Seemed confused as to why we were leaving despite the fact of many bugs in the entrance. Again, never asked if we wanted to move or why we decided to box our food and leave after just a few minutes

The food was outstanding, as always. The music was a little too loud. The service was just OK not up to the usual standards there. Had a reservations for 1 o’clock ended up having to wait while people without reservations came in and got a table. That was the only thing I was mostly upset about with no apology or explanation.

We dined at Indaco for Brunch and it was a fantastic experience! This was by far the best meal we had our entire time in Charleston. Our server, Katelyn, was an absolute gem (kind, attentive, knowledgeable) and the food was excellent! We started with an order of the waffles to share (they were so delicious) and a carafe of mimosas, and then ordered the margarita pizza, eggs in purgatory and the bagel sandwich. Everything was prepared to perfection and tasted amazing! I can’t wait to try their newest location in Greenville, SC when it opens this summer.

We sat outside with a very large, noisy group of women. I don't think other parties should have been out there with such a large group. I had a headache by the time I left. I mentioned this issue when I left and the hostess did not seem too interested in helping out the next group of guests.

This place is the real deal! Everything was wonderful from the super friendly staff, the amazing ambiance and the unbelievable food/drink! We had the BEST meal we have had in ages! We had the Italian salad, the fried oysters, the grilled octopus, the meatballs, a pizza and two pastas! All very flavorful and delicious! Exceeded expectations! 10/10!!! Shealyn's welcome at the front desk was very warm and friendly - great start. Alex's (Buffalo) service was perfect with very good recommendations. Love the Prosciutto app and the Agnolotti and Cavatelli with morels were super yummy. Great ambiance with a good wine list - a real favorite. 😊👫
