   The restaurant did not actually exist anymore and was closed down. Should not allow reservations on OpenTable for closed restaurants.

   We have been to Avenue Italy quite a few times and have always enjoyed it. We had visitors in town and booked Avenue Italy on OpenTable for last Friday night. We took the time before we went to view the Avenue Italy menu and plan out our meal options. Imagine our surprise when we turned up and the restaurant had changed over to The Little Oliva, a Mediterranean themed restaurant with a completely different menu. The servers brought us drinks as soon as we sat down, probably to ensure we wouldn’t leave after reviewing the menu. Do t get me wrong, the food was fine. But just not what we wanted when we booked Avenue Italy. And we spent around $350 for a meal that wasn’t what we signed up for. We feel duped!

   Wonderful experience but apparently we got in on the last day at this location before it turned into another restaurant. Would have been good to know as all the signage had changed over so we were a bit confused…

   The scallop linguine I ordered was dry on the top. The sauce at the bottom and the scallops were delicious though along with the Caesar salad. The lasagna was overcooked and not as cheesy as we were hoping for.

   Both food and service were substandard. Poor quality food that’ll give you heartburn. First and last time at this place. HORRIBLE!

   The food is always exceptional at Avenue Italy, as is their staff. We always enjoy being served by Mr. Bartolomeo. He is professional, attentive and friendly. We enjoy bringing our friends from out of town to experience the amazing food at this charming restaurant. Excellent value!
