GOMA is a new Japanese fusion located at the corner of E. 4th and Prospect in downtown Cleveland. As Dante Boccuzzi’s newest restaurant, the menu draws upon Chef Boccuzzi’s worldwide award-winning culinary career, which includes serving as the executive chef at Nobu in Milan, where he worked directly with Nobu Matsuhisa and Giorgio Armani at the flagship establishment. **Validation for parking through East 4th Street Valet is available upon request.

Deliciousness in every bite! We were not expecting to be wowed- but we loved the food and our waitress was so sweet and gave us menu recommendations that did not disappoint! We will definitely be back.

Gave Goma a second chance after not being a fan the best time and was sadly disappointed yet again. Brought my godmother who was in town from LA. First we ordered drinks (she got hot sake, I got a dirty martini with wasabi goat cheese olives). The goat cheese were waaaay to goat cheese forward and just didn’t vibe well with the vodka. Ordered the two new apps that were mentioned (tuna crispy rice cakes and some sashimi plate). Tuna crispy rice didn’t taste super fresh, the sashimi plate was okay, I enjoyed the sauce paired with the toppings. For our dinners, we ordered rice with vegetables and chicken (barely any chicken lol), wagyu beef nigiri (steak was so chewy I almost had to spit it out, I mean so bad the table next to us was about to order it and we encouraged them to not waste $20 on it), and spicy tuna roll (probably one of the better things I got throughout the night - however I ordered it with avocado and they forgot so had to send it back). Server was nice. Didn’t catch her name. Could’ve been more attentive with refilling waters but overall a pleasant waitress. Did take off the martini which was appreciated. All in all, pretty disappointed yet again which is so surprising to me because of how amazing Ginko is. Maybe the chef changed? Idk but I don’t do third chances. The vibe inside is cool, I will say that.

Sushi not anything special. Surprisingly disappointed after seeing all the great reviews. Won’t be back.

Very disappointing this time around. Sushi was mediocre. Service slow. Our orders were late (sushi came after meal served ) or forgotten altogether. Bill messed up. Prob won’t be back

Would not recommend or come again for this experience. Service was great but when the sushi chef was talking either music was loud or we could not understand him and no accommodation was extended to convey his comments. Didn't really know what we were having beyond menu description without asking. For this kind of experience it was lacking. Really was mundane and subverted the food. Wanted something more out of the experience for the price and didn't get it. Needed more than just dinner in a vacant restaurant at the sushi bar. This was nothing special but we were charged a special price. I will say Saki pairing was great.

Truly inventive, unique, dishes which skillfully blend traditional Japanese with more modern Asian fusion. Top-notch quality and delicious. Attentive wait staff.

Wine list is non-existent. Couldn’t find any wine glasses. Took 25 minutes for a bottle of wine. Ended up canceling the order. Wouldn’t let us sit at a table when I made a mistake of reserving the sushi bar. Sushi was really good.
