Named after our daughter Grace, along with the idea that a steakhouse can be graceful, whimsical, and elegant without being dark and moody. What started as a vision to keep the vibe light and airy while letting the outside in, has turned into an Award-winning design of which we couldn't be prouder.
This menu is truly meant to offer something for everyone, with often found steakhouse features as well as a plethora of seafood to truly highlight the best of the gulf and beyond. Prime, Dry Aged and local Wagyu cuts of beef in 4 to 40 oz. portions are available to satisfy any sized appetite. Innovative cocktails and wines from around the world top it all off -making Guard and Grace the place to be for happy hour, a couple's night out or your private event.
Our family, or Ohana, is a passionate group of culinary obsessives who strive to make memories that will last a lifetime. Houston is a special city that has stolen our hearts, and from the bottom of them, we thank you for joining us.

The food was incredible! Trey was a great waiter, and so graciously gifted us the best desserts for our celebration. We will definitely be back!

Overall experience was not good. The food was absolutely delicious, so hats off to the chef and the entire kitchen staff. We were seated by the kitchen so we had a view of how in sync the kitchen was. Although the food was good, the service was TERRIBLE! Our waiter was non existent. We start with an a white male who took our drink order. When we received our drinks, I noticed that my fiancé drink did not have any garnish. While the table right behind us ordered the same drink and his had garnish. After we received our drinks, we sat at our table for 20 minutes unattended. While the table behind us (which was an all white table) was able to place their food order. Finally the black lady from the bar came to take our order and apologized for the wait. She asked if we wanted to order appetizers, we decided to order our appetizers and our entree. Our food took around 30 mins to come out and once it did, we didn’t receive our appetizers. We didn’t get a chance to let anyone know because no one ever came back to check on us until halfway through our meal. The other tables around us had very attentive waiters. The food was pure perfection but we will NEVER dine here again. I refuse to spend our money on places that does not appreciate our business.

The filet, truffle gnocchi, cocktails, and toffee cake were all particular standouts. The waitstaff also went above and beyond with their recommendations and even copped dessert for us as a birthday present (with Happy Birthday written in chocolate sauce!) Apologies to our primary waiter for not remembering his name, but he was a particular standout. I would highly recommend Guard and Grave and will definitely be returning in the future.

there is a lots of Hype self issued for this place, It was a little better than a good meal. We had the Vietnamese Salad ok , a Special oyster Scallop dish that couldn't taste the scallops but it was very good, Chicken Fried Quail Different and very good but sauce overwhelmed the fow. the Ravioli and corn good , a 4 oz wagyu no taste but very tender, with pepercorn sauce with brandy almost no taste but smooth. service was good, With an excellent Wine list needed the SOMS help, recommended 1 1 was thinking and thiking spanish he had the last 2 of A tempranillo he wanted to move and discounted it, very good but really maybe a little high for the discounted price. Enjoyed the unique offerings, we will go back again but were in no rush

Everything about Guard and Grace is first class. The wine was delicious, the appetizer sushi was amazing and the steak was to die for. Our server Elijah was delightful and knowledgable. This is one of the best meals I have ever had in Houston.
