At the top of an unassuming staircase, Le Loup is the hidden gem of Fry’s Germantown trifecta. A custom underwater mural by Rebecca Green sets the tone for an intimate, lounge-y space with dimly lit bar, vintage stone mantel centerpiece, and comfortable fireside seating.

Le Loup will offer decadent snacks, like deep water oysters and variety of sea fare (like spot prawns & razor clams) followed by house favorites like the classic smoked fish dip with “club” crackers, raclette-laced house “tots,” scallop crudo, and foie gras and duck liver parfait.

I had heard how wonderful Le Loup was, and we are SO glad we tried it yesterday with two of our good friends. First, it's a beautiful bar/space. We had reservations for 5pm but did not need them. It had just opened, and we had our pick of table and chose a booth. I started with A Very Private Affair and my husband had a Calcutta. Both were fantastic. He stuck with those, and I shared a bottle of Rose with our friends. As far as the sea snacks, we started with oysters, all 3 flavors. They were fresh and delicious. We also shared some bread & butter with caviar (delish), snapper ceviche and tuna tartare. They thru in some proper chips on them. Wow. All just awesome. Our server, Ryan was incredible. So attentive, knowledgeable and kind. Really top notch. We finished it all off with Bananas Foster and four spoons. I cannot say enough about what a wonderful time we had. We will definitely be back and will make this a regular on our places to go list. Highly recommend.

Great drinks, ambience, and food. It’s a really unique, well done venue. Food was amazing. We did the Gourgere, Crab Cake, Caviar, and Bread. All amazing!

This was our first visit for oysters and cocktails and it was ok but nothing I'm dying to return for. My oysters were a bit sloppily shucked and half of them I was spitting out some grit/shell. That's disappointing at the price point! Cocktails were ok, but wouldn't order either of them again. Seating was fine for drinking but tough for eating around a table and the lighting was so so dark I had to shine my phone light to see cocktail sauce vs mignonette!

Wow! Can’t go wrong with this Ford Fry gem serving up outstanding cocktails and seafood combined with friendly , knowledgeable service (from Ryan, for us!). We mentioned it was our 33rd “iron” anniversary and they treated us so special. Thanks for a memorable evening, Le Loup !

High-energy vibe on a Friday night, fun to have cocktails and people watch. Impressive bar and drink selections, and the menu is eclectic and seafood-heavy, really good with your favorite cocktail. Don’t like seafood? The smash burger is great too! Seating is cool—we like the energy at the bar seats. Always enjoy our times at Le Loup 🦪🍸

This used to be one of my favorite bars in town but it has unfortunately gone way downhill. It used to be a place that took pride in the beverage program, now the servers don’t seem to know or care about the drinks. We celebrated my birthday here with a big group and planning it was nearly impossible because nobody answers the phone and it took several days to get someone to return my call. They also refused to allow people to order drinks on their own tabs. Overall, very disappointed in the service. And for a martini bar, the martinis were not good. I really wish they would revamp the beverage program back to what it was.

Harrison was fabulous!!! And Eric was just amazing. We had appetizers and then went downstairs to The Optimist for dinner and couldn’t wait to go back to Le Loup to top off our evening with Banana’s Foster!
