The entire staff is fun, knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The hostess (Cassandra) was welcoming and gave us the perfect table, we will definitely be back for brunch again!!!

The team at Bosscat were awesome! They were attentive, proactive and the food came out perfect. For my first time coming here, I am so happy I was able to snag a reservation for our brunch! The only reason why it wasn’t 5 stars all around was because the music the DJ was playing was a little loud so we had to repeat ourselves a couple times during conversation. STILL, impressed with the staff here - overall, we had a great time with some great food. Thanks again, bosscat!

The food and service were excellent. I have been to bosskat multiple times and I have not tried anything. Disappointing. The food is consistently good and the service is consistently great. I highly recommend this place.

I was in Houston for an educational conference and checked this place out. It is a total vibe…. Live music, great drinks, good food and AWESOME SERVICE!! We ordered pulled pork hush puppies as an appetizer and would recommend. I had The Good Life cocktail, would recommend. Our entrees were Sugar barrel steak and the pulled pork sandwich. I think it was called The BC. Both entrees were delicious and the live music was really good. It’s a little noisy but we could still hear our conversation at the table.

I’ve eaten at BCK before for lunch, dinner, and happy hour and I was very impressed. However their brunch is not on the same caliber… it was a let down for me. I first ordered the shrimp and grits and was very unimpressed when the dish arrived to the table. The cocktail shrimp on top of the grits was so unappealing. The shrimp in shrimp and grits aren’t suppose to be cocktail style, let’s just start there. The grits had an ok flavor due to the cheese but they had a gritty texture. So I sent it back and ordered the pull pork hash. That was a much better second choice. The vibes are there for mimosa and small bites with your girlfriends but not Sunday Funday vibes some people are looking for. I enjoy the DJ’s multicultural mix and the restaurants atmosphere is always top tier.

Really enjoyed my Sunday brunch experience. The food was pretty good a little unusual. I waitress was very beautiful and nice. I had two alcoholic drinks, and they wasn’t the best. Overall, the atmosphere was pretty nice. But I think I would probably try something different in the area next time.

Atmosphere great when it’s got people in there. Food and service were average. Though I do understand keeping people moving for the sake of efficiency and fairness, but if before you even seat me you tell me I’m on the clock, it doesn’t encourage anyone to take their time. I was going to order another drink once i was done eating but i wasn’t comfortable. Gives you the feeling people are watching you. It was overall an average experience- won’t be rushing back any time soon.

Our group had a decent time and most of the experience was good. Our waiter was nice and mostly efficient. The only real things of note were the avocado toast, how loud it was, and the timeliness of our waiter. The avocado toast was mediocre at best. I have never seen avocado spread so thinly on this particular dish. It was like a scraping of butter with 2 extra 0.5" chunks on each slice of bread. With 5 cherry tomato halves on each. For $17...y'all missed the mark. We had to ask the hostess to send our waiter in the beginning after he disappeared for over 15 minutes after the rest of our party showed up at our table. Afterward, he came to our table sporadically and brought our check before asking if we'd like anything else. There are a lot of places to eat in Houston that offer more value for service and food. Our group's consensus was we'd go elsewhere next time.

Arrived for 10:15 am. Reservation for 4. Before seating us for reservation we were told we need to be finished by 11:30 am. I’ve never been told that ever. Server was not very good. Friend Asked for OJ twice. Finally came Food was very large servings. But lacked in taste. Bloody Mary’s and water were wonderful. Not planning to return. Just opinion of 4

Cool place and good DJ. Service at the bar was very unattentive. Bar tenders let us sit there for more than 10 minutes before they even welcomed us. Food no very good. Salmon was extremely over salted short ribs as well. Shrimp and grits very ok at best. Neat place but service and food quality was not good and there are too many other restaurants to return.

Great vibe and amazing items on the menu. I can't pick a favorite from the 5 apps we tried and the entrees that were equally as amazing. Bourbon selection was vast. Our server was awesome and he really enjoyed his job. He knew the menu and drinks well and offered great suggestions throughout the meal! I will for sure be going back next time I'm in Houston.
