5 of my girlfriends took me to the Veranda to celebrate my birthday today.Everything was exquisite. The food, service, ambiance and special details to the plating of all our food were amazing. We toured the grounds and enjoyed every minute of our visit. I have been may times before and look forward to the next time. Thanks for another lovely experience.

This venue is always a special treat. They make our events a treat. Even when someone isn’t drinking they put together a mocktail that makes it feel like a celebration!

My husband and I live 560 miles away and an acquaintance here in our home town knew we would be traveling to the San Diego area for our granddaughter’s high school graduation and told me we should not miss the veranda at the Grand Tradition. Our family of six were lucky enough to have brunch there on Father’s Day. It was outstanding.

A very relaxing and beautiful venue with lush gardens to stroll. I highly recommend dining with ladies or anyone because the menu items are delicious and presented with care along with attentive service while enjoying the veranda and view..

It is difficult to find a 10-Star restaurant these days - The Veranda during nice weather and the Grand Tradition for special events is the only 10-Star location left almost in the entire USA. Thank you so much again for an enjoyable brunch on the Veranda again yesterday.

We had one of the best experiences at dining that we’ve ever had! The service was outstanding, and the food was delicious! But it was the setting and ambiance that “stole the show”. Absolutely GORGEOUS!!! My friend actually gasped when we came around the corner and she saw the grounds and flowers and fountain. It was so beautiful and peaceful. We enjoyed our lunch immensely, but our favorite part was walking around the garden afterwards. Thank you so much for creating this amazing setting and restaurant!

We arrived at the Veranda with great expectations and our guests from Northern California. We had been there once before. The venue is beautiful. Our waitress was terrific. Our appetizer-the breakfast rolls--was fantastic. The Bloody Mary was great. The little plate of fruit slices with dips was a very nice touch. However, the Wellington Eggs Benedict were disappointing. The puff pastry was not completely baked, with raw dough in the middle. The poached eggs were slightly overcooked. The soft herbed cheese in the middle was just too rich for the dish in our taste. We wished that we'd ordered an omelette instead.

The Veranda has become our family's go-to place for eating with out-of-town family or dear friends. The food is excellent; and sometimes the eating is messy (ribs, burgers, tacos). The servers are quite willing to take pictures and provide to go boxes. The portable heaters are great for overcast mornings. Thank you to everyone who makes The Grand Tradition such a delightful experience!

All was lovely as expected. The hostesses was a bit unfriendly which put a bit of a damper on the experience.
