Fantastic! We had the tea that came with champagne, but they easily changed it up to a mocktail for one of our party who doesn't drink. When they realised she wasn't drinking it (didn't like the flavour but too polite to say), they insisted on changing it. Impeccable service, for sure will be back.

Visited with my sister for her birthday. Food was good, ambience was great! Loved the comfy chairs. I wanted to book the prelude tea set because I don’t drink alcohol and I did not want a mocktail but it was all booked up online so I ended up booking the serenade. The only difference was a glass of rose for an extra $30 pp. I called to see if we could change to prelude but they said we could only book what was available online which I thought was silly as they had quite a few serenade openings in the same area! In the end, we still enjoyed our visit.

Very good, and also cater to gluten free. The gluten free options were delicious, other than the scones. Unfortunately they were dry and oily, however the rest of the menu made up for it!

The food was amazing, however the tea was exceptionally poorly made in their “high tea” experience. Not only did servers continue to pour hot water over barely strong enough tea, but the selections were largely a little tasteless and not great brands in the tea world. Additionally, for “high tea” the location is very gloomy and in the middle of their main hotel check in process. The experience was overall nice enough, but I’d remiss not to comment that they need to significantly up their knowledge on tea and service, and that the atmosphere could use some tailoring for the cost

I took my girlfriend for afternoon tea for her birthday celebration. The service was great, food amazing and the ambiance at Royal York cannot be beat.

Great experience for a belated birthday/mothers high tea with the ladies. Ambience is amazing, the scones were unreal and the finger bites with unique and delicious. They even gave us a complimentary glass of champagne! Will be back for sure to try one of their cocktail bars!
