We had a wonderful experience at Valentina! Visiting from the Tampa Bay Area, we were impressed with the delicious food and lively atmosphere. The artichoke, and the grilled octopus exceeded our expectations.

Kimmie was outstanding. Helped us in guiding us through recommendations and was overall was very kind and a pleasure to talk to. All the dishes we had were excellent.

Food is fantastic, overall. The artichoke and paella were our favorites. The octopus was a bit chewy and small for the price. We received an incorrect dish. Our server was at another table and by the time she came back, we decided not to say anything as it had been awhile. She was clearly busy. The food was very fresh. The schnitzel was a bit odd for a Spanish concept and the pork sausages were too salty and tasted canned. We would definitely come back, but it would be nice to see more by the glass options for wine. The list looks incredible for bottles.

My new favorite restaurant! Not the traditional tapas menu. They refer to their menu as “Basque” but it also includes Mediterranean favorites. Our party of 5 had just about all the menu including sea bass, crispy paella with seafood, croquets, green beans with garlic, gambas with garlic (dipping the bread in sauce is key), sardines, tomato toast, chimichurri steak (carpaccio) and flattened fried artichokes. Those were to die for. 2 pitchers of sangria along with all 3 of their desserts; basque cake, churros (called something else) and burnt custard (similar to crème brûlée). Going back for a few more items missed. Make reservations.

Great tapas experience and good wine choices too. Shrimp, potatoes and fish crudo all very good.

We were delighted with our initial greeting/seating by the hostess. Our waiter, David, was the perfect balance of professional , knowledgeable and friendly. He expertly guided us through the menu and paced our tapas perfectly. We will definitely chose Valentina’s again.

Valentia is like fine dining in jeans, upscale and hip but casual and with a fairly young crowd, but also welcoming to seniors. Kimmy is a star, very attentive and any smart diner will asked to be seated among her tables.

My 2 dining companions had very good dishes. Pain Tomaquet Con Iberia and the other dish was the Arroz Del Senyoret. Unfortunately I ordered the Wienerschnitzl. The pork was pounded so thin it was almost too tough to eat. Way overcooked and very pricey. I called attention to this to our waitress and she agreed as she had this dish before. As with many of these eclectic restaurants... not a good value for the money. I most likely will not return .
